The only negative thing we experienced was the lack of water pressure in the shower which is to be expected from a historic building. But this didn’t spoil our stay at all.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming bed and breakfast, and it exceeded all our expectations. The owners and staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were not only cosy but also impeccably clean, making for a truly comfortable stay. The breakfast and lunch were tasty, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. What truly set this place apart were the thoughtful extra touches like toiletries and hospitality trays, which made us feel truly pampered. It is a fantastic base to walk, we went on a 6 mile walk to Linton and around the quarry which was recommended by the staff and they even printed us a very helpful map with directions. We can't wait to return for another relaxing getaway or food from the delicious restaurant!

Great place to stay - bar was great with good atmosphere and nice open fire and a really good selection of ales. The location was perfect - close to a number of different places to visit - and the rooms were first class. The staff were great too and couldn’t do more for you. Will definitely stay again

If we had time to stay longer!

The staff were friendly, polite and approachable, the facilities exceeded our expectations for a small b&b, the food was AMAZING and the scenery and decor was comforting and beautiful. Love that it is pet friendly unfortunately couldn’t bring our dog to this trip however will hopefully be back for her to enjoy it just as much as us. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, I am always cold and for building with such historic structure i didn’t expect to get warm easily but it didn’t take me long to warm up and have a great night sleep. The owners were attentive and showed the customer service approach that I would expect in a 5*! They were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful Inn situated around the picturesque countryside. Have recommended to friends and family and would happily visit again in the future. We visited for a quiet night away from the craziness of our day jobs in the ambulance service and it was just the rest and recouping we needed before our next shifts so THANK YOU!

Shower was not very good. When someone else in the adjacent room was also showering or using water the the shower dried up i.e. there was no water coming out. Very inconvenient when you had soap in your hair.

Excellent food, both breakfast and evening meals, staff very good, with a great location for Grassington, Kettlewell and Littondale.

Great location very close to Grassington and Skipton. The pub itself was gorgeous very Christmassy, lovely roaring fires, very relaxing. The room was perfect, the extra touches, fresh milk, water, biscuits and lovely soap and body lotion are very much appreciated. Breakfast was gorgeous and the best poached eggs, thank you all

Shower pressure not great and was either too hot or too cold.

Lovely cosy country inn. Comfy bed and pillows. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Fresh milk and chilled water in the fridge on the corridor outside room.

Huge bed but too big for the room. Otherwise no issues.

We had warm welcome to a cozy, historic country inn, delicious lunch and evening meal by the fireside. The breakfast was equally plentiful and varied. A family run Inn, very relaxed atmosphere, close to the wonderful dales and villages, just right for a couple of days away.

This pub is not to be missed! We felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. Welcoming hosts, lovely warm fires, great selection of drinks and the food was delicious. Our room was lovely, very comfortable bed and pillows and had a great view. We didn’t want to leave! Breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere, with great choices. We will definitely return and highly recommend to all.

I have no negative feedback for the Devonshire arms.

A quaint pub/ b&b steeped in history and a very homely, comfortable and relaxed premises. Our hosts were friendly and attentive and ran the place very efficiently. Lots of local walks from here and around 10 minutes from Skipton.
