Uncomfortable bed, a lot of mould in the shower. There was a lot of noise from the street, but clearly, that's outside of their control!

Friendly staff, good food and drink. A lively and busy place, centrally located.

Cleanliness - dusting, floors need vacuuming Bathroom - shower was unusable - too dangerous to use as the shower head was so old as was the bathroom. Very little hot water. Broken cupboard and the toilet needs a good scrub as it has timescale marks. A new pull cord would be nicer than the dirty one there, at £135 a night I would have liked a newer modern bathroom for the size of the room

Excellent coach house, rural and country inn Food was beautiful & delicious

Breakfast I think it’s crazy that it’s only served until 9.30 and actually the guy on shift was clearing things away by 9.15 We ordered our cooked breakfast at 9.20 and it was served to us by him over half an hour later…. There were only 2 other couples in there, finishing off, so I can’t put this wait down to being busy?? There was no more juice available on this wait and he’d even removed tea, coffee and the toaster so we just sat waiting and asking “how much longer?!” When breakfast did arrive and we were asked if we wanted sauces, by the same man - needless to say he’d forgotten as soon as he’d walked away!!

Friendliness of bar staff and helpers.

Shower temp control. No baths are available given imposed restrictions on water temp and flow. It's not a major concern.

The staff were wonderful, so friendly and approachable. They were all great with our almost 2 year old daughter, the manager went above and beyond at our last breakfast by putting Bluey on the TV for her so we could finish eating our breakfast. Our room was nice for a dog friendly family room and we loved being in the courtyard area rather than being in the main building, so we had our own acess which made it easier with the dog and bringing our things in and out. We were disapointed with the cleanliness of our bathroom, it was a bit tierd and tatty. Some patches of mould and the taps and shower head over the bath didn't look like they'd been cleaned and seemed quite limescaley. Along with orange mould on the tiles and bath itself. The sink and toilet were fine it was mainly the bath, so we were put off using it and put it down to the fact its a dog/family room so is likely to be messier, so didn't complain as it was a tiny flaw in an otherwise great room. Would have given a 10 overall if the bathroom had been better. We discovered we could pay £15 for a 12pm check out which we arranged at dinner on our first night, would 100% reccommend doing that if you have kids, gives you so much extra time. The parking at the hotel was very tiny and you had to be lucky to get a space, probably only room for 5 cars. No car parks, so you have to park on the road in the 2hr spots, which was fine over night as it wasn't limited,, but a challenge for the day time when you came back from a trip. We were lucky to bag a space in the hotel car park on our 2nd day and decided not to move until we left, to make it easier for check out. We had both our evening meals at the resturant in the hotel. Delicious food and reasonably priced, the childrens menu was simple but great portions. Our daughter is not a potato fan, but had chips both nights!! Puds were delish. Breakfast was good in the mornings as well, with great variety.

Room needed some tlc in places. Entrance door was old style and looked tired and needed a clean. Suggest a good dust would help and small snags such as it needs a new outside doormat and a replacement bathroom light string. Shame really as these details are easy to put right. Carpark also needs sprucing up.

Friendly staff and good size room with character and potential. Impressive 4 poster bed and it was warm in the room. The bathroom was a good size too. Car parking space outside the door was great. The breakfast was excellent.

The room was not well cleaned! The glass in the door to the room, had black mould from condensation and the rim of the toilet was not clean, the grouting of the shower needed a clean the door on the cupboard under the sink was broken, a stud cover on the bath panel was missing I moved some decorative suitcases and found toothpaste from a previous guest. It would be useful to have a table or chair in the bathroom for clothes - the large tiled shelf is needed for toiletries.

Welcome was excellent, dinner was lovely and service good. Breakfast is chaotic but food excellent, lots of staff milling about with no apparent purpose no one wears name badges which makes communication a little challenging. The room was lovely - I rearranged the sitting chairs to make it more comfortable and had to get a chair from the dining room to be able to work at the desk.

Couldn’t fault anything other than preference that I would have liked a bath rather than shower.

This is the second time I have stayed, staff remembered me which was nice and took time to have conversation and included me. Evening meals were amazing especially the steak, cooked to perfection. I stayed 2 nights and had the best sleep as the bed was extremely comfortable and room temperature controllable to suit myself ❤️
