The location, the shabby aspect of the building, the lack of facilities, the centipede in the bathroom, especially the noise as the hotel is next to a busy road.

The fact there was a convenience store opposite.

Muffy smell throughout. Very small and basic for the price paid. Refundable deposit seemed a bit unfair. First time EVER for me to make one.

    Comfortable bed, hot powerful shower.

Strange that spare towels and pillows taken off second bed in room as soon as I advised which bed I would sleep in. Only place that held opportunity to take fifty pound from my visa if any damages Tea and coffee in kitchen but no milk.

Parking situation is a bit difficult. Room maybe too tiny for 2 people. Very noisy during the night, because rain was dripping on a zinc plate directly under my window.

Basic room close to the harbour. Everything's in there what you need for a night.

A microwave and dishwasher do not count as a kitchen for a hostel. In my experience when a HOSTEL advertises a kitchen it includes a cooker, every other hostel I've stayed in, if it only had a microwave starts that clearly.

Good for catching the ferry, reasonably clean rooms, easy check in

Difficult to check in with phone number on door not matching that on booking.com. No hot water (lukewarm) in the room. Advertise a shared kitchen, it’s a microwave, kettle, and fridge.

Close to the ferry, pretty much as we expected based on the reviews.
