Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomTwo of the main breakfast options from the menu were not available. The bedside table in the bedroom was a little shabby and broken. Toilet paper of extremely cheap quality.
The breakfast I did get was very good. Bedroom generally very nice with plenty of power points and USB ports. Toiletries good quality with pleasant scent. Very friendly and polite staff.

United KingdomQuirky things like en-suite was up a large step, which I felt I was dangerous in the night. I hurt my finger on the banister rail as it met the ceiling of the other layers of stairs.
Location was great for what we needed. The food smelt lovely in the evening and I will eat in next time. Breakfast was nice and the staff were lovely.

United KingdomIt was just too noisy to sleep at night, something was hitting the door, and the sound of cars passing coupled with the wind blowing does not help. As clean as the hotel was, all the windows were filled with mildews, which was not too good.
The environment was quiet, just as I liked it, and coming with parking was a bonus. Staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was nice and I liked it.
