Made staff aware I was allergic to garlic and was still served a traditional breakfast that contained a high amount of garlic,after the server said that no garlic was present in a traditional breakfast,I began eating and immediately had a reaction that I needed to use an urgent epi pen,after telling said server he took it away and came back to tell me that tomatoes,baked beans,and mushrooms all contained garlic..who puts garlic in a British traditional breakfast???....a breakfast was then re cooked for me containing no garlic.. For me this was life threatening and I will be seeking legal advise. Servers should have more knowledge about the food they are serving for this reason.

Room was compact for two people. Not the widest choice for breakfast. £3 supplement on some menu items. Very limited parking at hotel and, although NCP is only 5 mins walk, it's expensive at £32 for 24 hours.

Arrived early for check-in but room was prepared and available. Room and bathroom clean. Good shower over the bath. Good location for seafront and the Brighton Centre. OK for a one night stay.

Bar had run out of some beers.

We found the heating impossible to control and the room got too warm even with windows open (which allows noise at night to filter in). The one lift and multiple corridors and stairs on each floor is a bit difficult to navigate and the lift often over-subscribed. All parking options are expensive, but we accept that that’s Brighton.

As a 3 star hotel, we expected some limitations on facilities, but it met our needs. Breakfasts were fine for the deal - service was great there. KISS is good for what is offered. Front of house is good.

Its an older property so the rooms soundproofing is not as good as some more modern places. I was on the 5th floor and the water pressure in the Shower was very poor.

Unfortunately, because it's a very old hotel the room had a very weird floor that wasn't straight, and because it's a lot of old wood you can hear your upstair neighbors walking because the floor is creaking. That was the only issue.

The location is incredible, it's really in front of the sea and the staff is great. Everything was very clean and organized.

Some of the breakfast was wonderful but some of the breakfast was not so wonderful. Some of the cooked breakfast was not hot There was a lot of shouting outside the hotel during the night caused by some street-homeless people. There was a lack of choice for hot snacks at the bar but the Margherita pizza was filling, hot and scrumptious!

The bed was very comfortable and the bath was wide. The barman was very pleasant.

The first room which was family room when i paid for double room , Didnt need 2 extra beds in room ,i was shown another room didnt like ..The last room was the best ,which i could of been given first .
