Good value, lovely breakfast and excellent seafront location.

    Nothing really.

Room was clean and fairly comfortable, although a little faded at the edges, for instance, curtains had holes in them. But bathroom was good, and seemed that it had been retiled quite recently. Clean as well. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was excellent, came up really quickly and all elements were very well cooked. Great location on the seafront.

Very small room with view of a wall. But I guess there are good and bad rooms in all old buildings. Shower pressure a bit weak.

Seafront, good location for conference centre. Not too far from station. Nice staff. Breakfast choice is OK.

The only thing I didn't like was that I had a basement room - in my country, basement hotel rooms do not exist, though it was rather big. Another thing, the internet was terrible - I could not use my laptop in the room. I was told that despite boosters, the internet works only in the reception area, so that's where I had to grade my students' essays.

Breakfast was superb - you can order a la cart a full traditional breakfast, or different options, like pancakes, fruit and so on. Location is perfect - near the city center and the venue where the conference was held.

It wouldn't hurt to provide gluten free cereal. Although the fruit and yoghurt bowl was very nice and gf toast also provided its not a very substantial breakfast for the money.

Nice spacious room with sea view, comfy bed. Some gluten free options at breakfast, although limited.

The lady on reception I found rude and not friendly as we checked in, the scrambled egg wasn't cooked properly, breakfast wasn't really explained to us but was served quickly and was tasty apart from the egg.

Stayed on the 3rd Floor the room was perfect and the view was stunning.

Real maze of corridors to go through to find your room.

Liked the sea view apartment though I had to pay extra for it as they’d booked me city view.

Being down in a basement where you were directly below what must've been the reception and bar area. All you could hear through the night was footsteps.

I stayed 3 nights. I couldn't sleep at all the first night due to people in the room upstairs from me partying all night. It sounded like they were moving furniture around and we're talking very loudly. I had to go down to reception to complain. I was told they would phone the room, but this made no difference and the noise went on constantly until after 8am. Sadly, I had to cancel plans for the next day as I needed to sleep!

Friendly staff in reception, clean and comfortable room with a bath. Good, central location on the sea front.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. We had a room with sea view which was really nice. Stayed in the hotel for the Brighton marathon and the hotel was located close to the finish line which was really convenient after the run. Location was good, right next to the beach. We also brought our dog, staff was superfriendly and welcoming. Overall, would recommend staying here.

The room was rediculous for the price. I paid £220 for one night and it was a tiny single room. It was noisy.

The breakfast was great. The staff were great. It was very clean. Water was very hot in the bath.
