Nothing stood out to us that we didn’t like!

We stayed here last year and just had to book in again for this year! The lodge is so spacious and is very well equipped. The beds are super comfy and the hot tub is lovely. The owners are so nice and helpful and the staff were always there on site if we needed anything. Will definitely book again for next year :)

Couple of small maintenance jobs and TLC required in some areas, feedback given to owners but didn't affect our stay and we would definitely return. Lodge wasn't ready on arrival time requested but we received instant communication after making them aware and it was sorted out quickly.

Fantastic location for exploring the area. Very spacious lodge with comfy beds and lounge areas. We'll equipped and the hot tub and cinema screen was lovely for relaxing. We only used on site bar/restaurant once on arrival waiting to check in. Thanks for the prosecco and cream tea and for checking on us mid stay. Owners who care about their guests.

Lovely spacious house with all necessary amenities. Perfect for friends and family holidays set in a picturesque surroundings. Amenities in a working condition, though some needing TLC. Kitchen well equipped with all necessities. Hottab and projector added additional comfort to already wonderful evening. Highly recommended place we would be happy to come back to. Great communication with the host

We felt the cleanliness could’ve been a bit better. This is something done by an external company who have let the owner down which is a shame because the owner is absolutely lovely.

The size of the property is fantastic, so spacious even for a family of 4 plus 2 grandparents and another grandchild. The cinema room and hot tub is absolutely amazing was the perfect room to watch a Christmas movie during our stay at Christmas.

The wooden floors were very creeky throughout the lodge.

We found the holiday resort itself a bit disappointing. There was a shop, bar and restaurant on site, both extremely expensive. Best to stock up before arrival . We had drinks and food from the bar and restaurant, very expensive and the food was very poor quality . We complained to the manger and he was very helpful. However we did not use the facilities again which was a shame.

Great location . Close to the coast and Padstow Spacious clean lodge with plenty of space for a larger group . Lisa the owner was extremely helpful. The hot tub was great

The staff at Away Resorts when dealing with an onsite issue we had were a little unprofessional at times but they were able to help us rectify the issue still. The restaurant on site is also not great - it didn't matter to us though as the Lodge provided a BBQ!

Lake View Lodge was in the perfect location for us as it meant we could easily travel around Cornwall and visit the places we wanted to see. It is based on a fairly small resort with some lovely walks. The lodge itself it's lovely and spacious and allows so much light on, I can't think of a better way to start my day. The hot tub was delightful for the evenings also. The owners from the moment of booking were amazing and I felt like they couldn't have done more for us. We were traveling with a 1 year from Kent so we're fairly apprehensive but they allowed us to check in early and ensure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful lodge in a beautiful place. The lodge was very clean, had excellent facilities and felt like home from home. The site was clean, had a lovey pool and park. My son particularly loved the flow rider activity. The hosts were very attentive and on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend this lodge to anyone, it was just perfect.

The lodge is very spacious, clean and bright with a fully decked out kitchen, everything about it feels very homely. The beds are comfy and the hot tub & bbq are great additions. the location of the property is perfect, being very close to Newquay and quite central to a lot of places. the on-site facilities, like the pool, restaurant and water activities were brilliant and all staff encountered on site where really lovely and helpful. the property owner is also lovely and will help with any questions/issues that you have. we will definitely be returning next year!

Not the house but the location itself needed more signage- location of lodge and where to locate it but we were losing our minds as we had 2 little ones after a long drive so patience was zero.

lovely house, hot tub was a great bonus especially after surfing all day it topped the day off well. It was our first family’s holiday with x2 children. so for us we wanted a place we could relax of an evening. We came down with friends and the house was big enough for all of us.

The host have not had the lodge long, and i understand there is some updating they will be doing, such as lights on the decking - TBH there was nothing to complain about.

Location is fantastic, close to padstow and not far from newquay, perranporth, Port Issac. The resort has a local shop restaurant/Bar Indoor Pool, flow Rider and Beach watersports area (although these are seasonal) We have stayed at Retallic before, hence returning again. There were a few wifi issues, but the hosts were amazing and got this dealt with quickly. Lisa and Ed were very helpful and friendly and so understanding when i text them about things. The lodge was value for money and they welcomed my dog with open arms, which is great. We all had an amazing time and will certainly be back and staying at Ed and Lisa's Lodge. We highly recommend.

Excellent location for Newquay and Padstow. Loads of room, nice big kitchen with a proper oven. Comfy beds. We had a great stay, would defiantly stay here again.

The Jacuzzi was an amazing treat and very relaxing, The BBQ was nice, we made pizzas on the pizza plate, The views are incredible, The space inside the lodge was huge, plenty of room for a family and the cinema screen was excellent of an evening.
