Great location for our needs. Enjoyed using the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. We had issues with the room but those were fully resolved by the manager and head housekeeper. A great welcome every morning at breakfast too from the gentleman greeter.

Jacuzzi wasn't working but it wasn't a major issue. Some areas a bit dated.

Food was fabulous (dinner & breakfast). Bar was really good and cocktails great. We played board games in bar area and the barman was so lovely and hospitable. Pool was nice. Room nice and clean. Hotel needs a little spruce up but for the money and lovely stay I think I could overlook these little faults.

The bedding was clean but didn’t smell particularly fresh and the beds were not made after housekeeping came the second morning nor was the bin in the main room emptied, I did feed this back to front seat and they were very receptive so hopefully just a one off.

The staff were absolutely amazing, especially Calixte Chery at breakfast, what a wonderful asset he is to the hotel! On check in the lady was lovely and since I became a member we got a free room upgrade which was a lovely start, also meant we got to watch the horse racing from our balcony which was a treat!

Overall everything was good although on arrival to our room we had to go and ask for hangers as none in the room. Later some were supplied. Then we later discovered that the lights in the room were not working. Reported to reception and we were told that there was no one available to come and see and that we would need to wait till the morning. A manager did come to the room and he was unable to see what the problem was. At this point maybe we should have been offered a different room. We were not. We were again told to wait till the morning. Later on we discovered that our television was not working and once again we needed to go to reception, and a pleasant young man came up and did say that with lights not working and tv not working he was going to see about transferring us to another room. By this time it was really late and that we had already unpacked and couldn't face packing and unpacking again but we would be happy to transfer to a different room the following day at 2pm as we would not be available sooner as it would be Easter. We came back to hotel leaving friends and family for awhile and we did get transferred to another room. The health suite had a non working jacuzzi but a note was posted up to advise and things do happen. Steam room was cold most of the time and the one time that it was hot , it was really unacceptably hot. No water in the gym, and no cups either. No sanitiser in the gym except for antibacterial towelettes and as the lid was left opened all the time, they were rather dry to the touch. We have stayed at the hotel previously and although not totally disappointed on this occasion, we expected a little better considering the type of hotel it is. Please rectify these little problems as they do tend to put customers and potential customers off Thank you

On Saturday morning went for swim but pool not open until maintenance man had checked chlorine level in pool,expected 9.30. On golf course at 9.

Love the spa and pool but the jacuzzi could be bigger but thats just a personal choice. There was a lovely atmosphere in the bar area and staff were very helpful

Our room wasn't ready but we were quickly given another one and with a few other things that we needed we were helped straightaway . The food was lovely in the evening and well presented.

Travelled late at night, so missed the signage, as it wasn't lit up. Staff on the bar weren't particularly helpful and slow to serve Food served in the bar was very basic and disappointing. Event food was also very bland and not clearly labelled the next day. Signage around the complex is poor.
