Marion welcomed us like we were old friends & was so warm & lovely the whole time. The hut was immaculate & beautifully done with special quirks to enjoy. We looked out over green fields & could not see another house so felt like we were the only people around (which is what we wanted) but only 15 mins walk to the local pub where we spent a wonderful afternoon with locals listening to beautiful live music. Marion’s horse was so sweet & loved a rub & chat. Perfect place to retreat to after hectic days dealing with hordes of tourists in the coastal towns.

Easy to find, remote - just what we were looking for! Tucked away into the picturesque countryside of Cornwall. Marion is a lovely host, everything is well thought out and thorough. There’s everything you’ll require.

Nothing it was excellent

The location was amazing and so peaceful. The shepherds hut had everything we needed and lots of room. It was extremely clean and there were little extra touches that made it even more special.

Wi-fi is a bit slow - but then again, it's free! Otherwise this is as near perfect as a shepherd's hut could be.

Very nice quiet location, yet near to shops and other facilities. Lovely view from the property which is very well equipped and furnished. I think a car is essential. Landlady very friendly and helpful, and lives on-site.

There was everything that you need and it was in perfect peaceful surroundings.

It was an amazing stay ! it was above and beyond our expectations. Marion was very friendly and helpful and she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The photos don’t do this lovley shepherds hut justice. We will definitely return and would highly recommend. Very close to local places to visit for wonderful walks and beaches.

The hut was amazing everything you need and so cosy perfect place and the view outstanding also the bonus waking up and seeing the owners horse made our stay more special and meeting the lovely cats the are beautiful what more can you ask for the host 100% lovely

The location was perfect, very peaceful but close to places to visit. Very clean, comfortable accommodation and very pleasant hosts. Very relaxing holiday.

For us the weather, but we can't hold the host responsible for that! And it is very small, but we are small people so that didn't matter too much for us in truth, if you were more of the larger girthed person you may find the kitchenette a bit of a struggle to manoeuvre around, but it is very functional and you have the bonus of the BBQ and firepit to make the most of cooking and dining al fresco.

Superb location, super quiet and peaceful surroundings, bonus wildcats on site and gracious welcoming hostess. Cosy little hut with all you need for a week stay for a couple looking for a base to visit north east cornwalls excellent beaches and bays. Did I mention it was cosy? Lovely bed and nice little sofa to cuddle up on and enjoy the view out of the french doors.

Cannot think of anything at all.

I cannot fault a single thing about this stay. Everything was spotless and smelt lovely too. Check in and check out was very easy with the lovely hosts and the location was easy to find. The hut was very private, comfortable, warm, spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. You are able to comfortably cook a meal with the hob and airfyer. There was a lovely view of the garden and you can spot some of the wildlife wandering through. I was kindly shown around to meet the cats and horse. The location was great and close by to some of Cornwall's beautiful sites. The local village has a supermarket and lovely fish and chip shop. I cannot wait to return. I think the hut was great value for money as a solo traveller and I preferred it in comparison to hotels etc. Thank you so much x

The kitchen was tiny but I was there on my own so it didn't matter too much

The location was excellent - very peaceful and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for washing up and a shower.

The shepherd's hut was really cosy, with a lovely view over the fields. Lots of wildlife right outside and plenty of peace and quiet. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Can’t think of any inconvenience.

If you love little houses then this is for you, with a nice view and conveniently located for driving around Cornwall and checking different places out. It was cute and clean, all worked well and we really enjoyed the stay, nice view into the fields. Easy to drive to and it was great for us as a base to explore Cornwall. Much much better than the average hotels you find in Cornwall for three times the price.
