How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Unfortunately we had stairs upto our room to contend with. We both struggled abit due to our disabilities but that was in no way there fault that was mine as I didn't state no stairs when booking but we managed it ok in the end.
The couple running it were great. The breakfast each morning was excellent.

Nothing, everything was superb
The hosts Roy & Tina were very friendly & helpful. The room had everything you need and bed was super comfy. Breakfast was excellent. Location was superb, Tram stop was only 2 mins away and area was nice and quiet. Will definately stop here again.

Having to come home
Warm and cozy , lovely hosts , clean , immaculate and a nice fresh smell ! Breakfast was beautiful...so filling and not greasy slop . The family room was very comfy ...wee separate bit for the kids with DVDs and a massive plus.....the shower was warm !!!!!!!! Roy and Tina took the time to speak to you and make you feel welcome. Will be back ! Thanks guys . ( Emma and Co room 1) x

There is nothing to dislike.
Not to far from the front, there is a tram stop 5 minutes from hotel. Roy and Tina were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with different varieties to choose. Room was clean and warm. We will definitely be staying here again.

Easy to find, parking nearby, warm welcome. Every thing we needed in the room, comfortable bed and clean. Order breakfast each day, good selection and lovely. There was a bar if required in evening for residents. Hosts very friendly and helpful with good knowledge of places to visit. Buses and trams close-by for getting into Blackpool, Cleveleys and Fleetwood. Pub nearby serving meals too. Would certainly stay again.

Roy and Tina are fabulous! Very warm, friendly, attentive and the breakfast was lovely! We stayed 3 nights and was very happy. We will definitely be returning, wouldn't stay anywhere else. 😊

The room we stayed in was the twin room and was lovely, the beds were comfortable and the facilities was nice. The breakfast was just amazing, across to cereal, big pot off coffee/tea and a freshly cooked breakfast. The hosts are a really lovely couple and made you feel incredibly welcome upon arrival. As two 31 year old males going away for an event we were worried that we would be judged as wanting to be party lads but they didn't judge us at all and was really engaging on getting to know us during our two nights we were there

The noise from the TV in the room next to ours
Brilliant weekend Lovely big room Clean Fabulous bathroom with shower Owners are very accommodating, and as it was our anniversary they purchased a bottle of fizz upon request and this was in our room on arrival

The breakfast was lovely, room was nice and clean. Roy and Tina was really lovely. Room was a great size even had dvd player and dvds for the kidsvto watch which they loved. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend

Shower had very low pressure so it take longer to get showered. Breakfast is served 8:30-9:30 ,but we had to leave earlier in the morning on our first day and there was no option on earlier or packed breakfast so it was a bit disapointing .
Host were very friendly .Room was nice ,clean and tidy .
