    Couldn't fault it!

Arrived on a large motorbike and parking was off-road and in a safe location - bonus! Large room, with plenty of space for our gear - very clean with a great shower. Good choice of breakfast, and plenty of coffee and toast!

Shower a little tight on elbow room, but manageable. Hanging space for clothes not ideal over the kettle.

Friendly staff, great location, good choice for breakfast, great selection of hot drinks in the room. Great power shower, comfy bed. Perfect for a solo traveller.

Difficult to get into Bath for a shower due to nothing to hold on to. No lift or indication of steep steps to bedrooms.

Just couldn't close the bathroom blind, but it was to the side of the building. So hopefully no one got an eye full!

Our room was huge! As was the bathroom. It was very warm and comfortable. Accessible off street parking 5 minutes walk from the centre. The breakfast was also wonderful and the staff couldn't do enough.

We had asked for a twin room which wasn't available, but the double bed was super king size and the en suite was excellent.

The breakfast was fantastic with lots of menu choices, using local produce and delicious unusual touches. It was served by a friendly helpful waitress who made the guests welcome and chatted to us all. The member of staff who registered us soon arrival, was equally welcoming and showed us where everything was.

The car park area and reception at the back of the house would benefit from some attention. The bedroom carpet was ridged in places and could do with stretching or replacing.

Beautiful period house conveniently located, very spacious bedroom, very comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Bedroom decor very pleasant.Good quality teas and coffees as well as bathroom products. Lots of options for breakfast, which was beautifully cooked. All the team were efficient, very helpful and really friendly. Our bedroom was at the front of the house on the road but we didn't find it too noisy. Knaresborough is a charming town and we only wished we could have had more time to explore.

Opting not to have the "Full English", I'd expected my choice of alternative hot ingredients to have been boosted to the same volume of food - so just one small round of toast with 2 poached eggs looked like short-change by comparison. Next day I specifically asked for 2 rounds, but still only got one :-( The food itself was well cooked and tasty - couldn't fault the chef at all - but a more generous portion of other bits for those of us who don't want the traditional F.E. every morning, would be appreciated, particularly when you've got 5 hours of Christmas shopping to face!

Lovely comfy bed - slept perfectly in spite of aching hips and knees! Room was spacious, with 2 bucket-style chairs and a coffee table for relaxing after shopping. We had room 2 on the first floor.

Shower could have Been more powerful.

What a beautiful B&B a lovely warm welcome from the owner. He gave our selves and my sister and partner the choice of rooms being very honest. The large one at the front, so may be a bit noisy or smaller one at the back. We chose the large at the front. We were not troubled at all by noise. It was warm and cosy lovely big ensuit. If I was being picky, the shower wasn't very powerful. But, we often find that in B&Bs .I would highly recommend it. Oh and the breakfast was magnificent great choice and all cooked fresh. Its very central and walking distance to shops and wonderful pubs and eaterys.. knarsborough is a lovely place. We did a great walk on sat. Along the river, Nid gorge about 7miles it was stunning. Great pub halfway round. Then, when back into Knarsborough, as you cross the station, you must go into the Gin and Ale bar on the platform. Wow, what a find.

Room was cold despite reporting that the bathroom radiator wasn’t working on the first morning. Slight improvement the second day but still a cold room. Rest of the house was very toasty though which seemed strange

Very close to town center, free parking, great breakfast and choice. Lovely staff.
