Not much to say besides the remoteness of the location, not necessarily a negative but I would not recommend unless your driving as it is a long walk from the hotel from Gwernymynedd (up a hill no less) and more remote due to little in the way of transport outside of taxi's (if you can afford them that is the other option).

I loved the remote location, tucked away on a hillside in Gwernymynedd (I believe that is how you spell it) lovely countryside and view, the hotel has an old and rustic feel to it oozing of nostalgia. The staff were amazing, at the ready to help with any issues and great service during breakfast (which was delicious, with choice of cereals, toast, croissant/pain au chocolat and Welsh breakfast consisting of sausage, egg, hash brown, mushrooms, black pudding and beans. Also the staff were very accommodating, we had an issue with our shower in our room (the valve wasn't working so no hot water) so we was given a key to access the next room shower (we loved our room and didn't want to swap as it offered a nice parking spot for our car behind the room and the bed was comfortable) until our shower was repaired a few days later with no issue (you can't put a price on such an kind offering) The location has easy access to places like Ruthin, Mold, Chester (including Chester Zoo) and Liverpool so long as you are driving, the hotel is too remote if your not driving. We would definitely come again if we go back to North Wales.

Location is outside town, in the country and it feels like it. Quiet and peaceful, somewhere to relax. Breakfast had a good variety on offer and the cooked was great.

Room’s decor seemed a bit old fashioned but that might have been the look they were going for.

The buffet breakfast fruit and yoghurt were not as good as it was on previous visits. Room was nice, but the heating came on during the night making the room too warm.

Location is good for us. The cooked breakfast was good.

There wasn't anything not to like and can understand why people have their weddings there

Everything was wonderful. We were upgraded to an amazing victoriana room. Best nights sleep in a while. The grounds are beautiful too. The bar wasn't open but there is a local pub a short walk away offering gorgeous views. We loved it and will be returning

Nothing, all was good from my side.

Staff and Harrison are very polite, friendly and professional. The location is good. Cost is excellent for bed & breakfast. Breakfast is very good, a variety of options including a menu of freshly cooked breakfast and this usually cost extra elsewhere. The room I had was comfortable and clean too. I highly recommend Harrisons Hall Bed & Breakfast and hope to book there again in the near future.
