It was good but would benefit from hook on bathroom door and toilet roll holder with an arm to hold the roll whilst in use. Had to reach behind my head to grab roll

Stayed for 1 night at this hotel and can't fault it. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel. The staff were excellent, super friendly and welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both meals were lovely. Overall service was great - would highly recommend.

Room 28 needs a rail or a hook in the bathroom to hang towels on. The bed in Room 23 needs upgrading - very soft and wobbly. The coffee in the restaurant is only just acceptable, which is a shame as everything else was very good indeed. Also, some better quality bread for toast would really make the breakfast top notch.

The hotel decor was much better than expected. The bed was very comfortable in Room 28, the courtesy tray was good. the dinner in the hotel was extremely good - we were all delighted with our meals - good portions, very well cooked - delicious. Breakfast the following morning was also very good - the porridge exceptionally so!

I booked second night because of the weather but managed to get home. I phoned the hotel however although I told them circumstances never got refunded. Have booked stevenston red squirrel with you guys so loyal to you however feel I should have been refunded all due to the weather

As mentioned in the above review - the en-suite (bathroom) could do with a little freshening up - besides that everything else was good

Excellent location - right in the centre of Annan, nice & handy for local Restaurants, Bars, Shops etc. & only a five minute walk to Annan railway station. Staff were friendly & welcoming - Hotel Bar & restaurant areas were nice, modern & clean. Regarding the room I stayed in - it had everything that I needed - only one thing to mention is the ensuite looked as if it could do with a little freshening up - All things said - my stay at the Queensberry was very good value for the price paid & Yes I would most certainly stay at the Queensberry again

Signposting to Annan - confusing and did not agree with sat nav. Especially as fairly long distances on one road which for about 10 miles had no affirmation that Annan was still on that road. Signposts to left and right for other places, but nothing straight ahead. But obviously this is nothing to do with the hote.

It was a bit noisy at night as there was a night cub next door. So I could not sleep with the window open as I prefer. The bathroom was ready for an upgrade, but it was clean and the shower was hot

Price for breakfast, especially for children 8£. I made them eat porridge and scrambled eggs before they could choose a small box of cereal. They would probably just eat that and for 8 £ it's not worth it. So we skipped breakfast on our second morning. Sirloin steak was really bad. It actually smelt a bit off, I had few pieces but my dog had to finish it. I had a funny tummy through the night and that might put me off breakfast. Should have stayed with steak pie.

Very friendly staff. The hotel was Easy to find and has free parking at the back. Dog friendly. Lots of biscuits in the room which made my kids delighted. The steak pie was really nice.

Kerb side appeal. But that’s not easy given size of hotel and weather

Location North of Carlisle and convenient for night stop. Free parking outside a bonus. Attentive staff despite late arrival and good price for size of room. Comfortable room that’s been recently renovated was well appointed.
