The hotel needs a painting face-lift plus clean carpets . In fact new carpets

Complimentary breakfast is what attracted me to it. Pricing not bad

1. I stayed on the 3rd floor using steep narrow stairs to it, which I felt was dangerous. 2. My room was missing the sky window curtains. So I could not sleep with the natural moon light in the night and daylight in the morning. 3. The shower water was cold.

No lifts to go to the upper floors. There was no hot water from the tap in my room. Out of 3 bathroom on the second floor, only one hot water shower.was functioning.

The staff were cordial and helpful. The breakfast was good. The boys assisting in the dining area was helpful, nice and friendly. The room was clean and nice. The hotel was quite at night. Can sleep soundly.

Very smelly. Loud man shouting and swearing outside window. Couldn't shut window as no handle on it (broken off) Toilet had a bowl underneath as it was leaking. Floor in bathroom was pealing away Mattress was mouldy Breakfast cereal was stale.

Quite outdated. Needs modernising and things replacing. Although it says restaurant, no food is available apart from continental breakfast. Told to walk down to the high street.

Very clean. Staff were very friendly. The high street is a 10 minute walk. Lots of food places and a Wetherspoons

It was cold in the room, heating didn't work, smelt a bit funky in there. There was a Sink in our room but water wasn't hot so used the kettle. Room 25, no en suite, shared bathroom with a lock that sort of works. Be aware the stairs are steep and narrow, not suitable for anyone with mobility problems

We booked as we needed a bed for the night. Pure convenience of location and cheap. You get what you pay for, budget, no frills. Basic breakfast available if you want cereal or toast.

Door won't lock on my room (pushed bed Infront of door to get a better sleep) ... Both the showers on the 2nd floor the holders both broke. Window needs replacing as rooms absolutely freezing as it's draughty and letting in loads of road noise in all night. Clearly room for improvement all round but okay as a works dig or a stop off but dont expect much for £35... Just about passable but I'd try and choose somewhere else if possible. Ended up buying a electric heater too as it -1 and got cold during the night. I'd suggest packing one in your car incase it's freezing when you visit!

Bed was comfy 24hour reception breakfast included... Shower hot and room is adequate...and clean!

I stayed quite a few times and only been able to shower once or twice (Hot water wasn't working...). Luckily I have a shower at work so not too much of a problem. Some rooms are great, some need a bit of TLC.

I've stayed at the Rollason quite a few times as I travel for work weekly and the hotel is close by. The staff at reception are always so friendly (Sorry didn't catch your names). Comfy bed, warm room.... Shared bathrooms but handy having sink in the room! Breakfast is a bonus too! Plenty of off-street parking too.

Location was good

Bed was uncomfortable , The shower the hot water wasn’t coming out. Very disappointed. After two hour later we left

Room poor condition very dated was cleaned but had a very musty smell. No cooked breakfast self service toast croissants and cereal Only paid £58 night so maybe expecting too much

However, there were several things in the room I didn’t like. The window ledge was lifting up from the frame due to damp issues with stains on the blinds and a draught coming through the window. In fact at times it sounded like the hotel was in the road rather than beside it. Also, there were things at low levels where you could bang your head and the bedside light and shaver point over the mirror was loose and didn’t look safe plus the room had a damp and fusty smell.

The bed in the room was comfy with fresh linen plus there was a kettle and tv in the room to make things a little easier.

Room could do with updating. Looking a bit shabby with carpets lifting at thresholds. Bathroom could do with tiles re grouting and flooring refresh.

Easy parking, good choice of continental breakfast, reasonable price of stay.
