There is a rat in the courtyard which came onto the plant on the window cill!

It was clean and the codes for getting in worked. There were enough pillows and towels. Kitchen facilities were available but I did not use them. I prefer a place where there are people to greet you and on site if needed so for a lone traveller it is a bit solitary.

I booked Bloomfield 2 on 04/04/24 for 18 to 20/07/24 and paid the full amount of £181. We required the accommodation to attend our daughter's graduation. On 16/07/24 I received a message that the room was no longer available. On phoning the property manager I was informed the room was 'double booked'. We had to make alternative arrangements at very short notice with availability of alternative accommodation extremely limited due to it being graduation week. I was also informed I have to contact Bookong.com to get my money refunded.

There was mold in the shower and tired decorations and paint job. The bathroom was tiny and barely large enough for a toilet. The mattress was old and sagging in the middle.

My room had major damp. The room was freezing. The bed was very uncomfortable. I had to walk through the communal kitchen to get to my room, so if I needed to leave and other guests (that I didn’t know) were using it it would’ve been very awkward.

The kitchen was done out very nice, I didn’t use it though.

First room had no TV just an Arial wire, despite one being advertised, had to walk over bare concrete to get to the room, felt like I was outside.... got moved to another room due to having no TV. However the 2nd room the TV did not work at all, kept saying no signal! Lots of marks on the walls, didn't feel very clean

Mould stains on bedding,towel rail too hot to touch ,loose electrical socket,laminate flooring curled with mould between joints, damp marks on the ceiling.owner called us after we left to ask where the TV was!!even though there wasn't one,just an aerial cable

I didn't stay at the property in the end as I was double booked .although I was offered a room with shared bathroom which wasn't what I'd booked..The place was grubby and I didn't feel safe.. a rather scruffy looking man let me in the front door who was smoking a cigarette, I was also offered a refund but four days and still no sign of it. Very disappointing.

room very cramped couldn’t get radiator to work in bathroom or lounge and no reply to my messages from the owner/management company. front door left open all the time anyone could come in listing does not make clear it is a communal lounge and kitchen until after booking and pictures of the room are not of this room which is misleading. bed pushed up against a wall meant had to climb over my wife in the night to go to the toilet. not enough room to swing a cat. I suppose you get what you pay for and at half the price of any other hotel in the centre I took my chances. won’t be returning though

Great location room was modern and had everything we needed. Communal kitchen area was very good with everything you needed. But only used for our breakfast as ate out.

First of all we couldn't get in(entry should have been via a door key kept in a safe box on the door), rang the number and about ten minutes later the owner ( I presume) appeared and let us in blaming the cleaner for not leaving the key. The owner then attempted to change the lock on the front door but failed miserably. Consequently there was no lock on the main door from when we arrived on Saturday afternoon until we left on Sunday morning. I'm far from being a clean freak and have stayed in some less than salubrious places over the years but Im not even sure the cleaner existed. Linen, towels all fine but the floor of the room was dirty, the flooring very badly fitted and coming away from the floorboards underneath, shower tiles and grouting filthy. The yard area outside was also strewn with rubbish, rotting food etc. Not sure what the people staying above us were doing at around 4am but it sounded like they were trying to dispose of a body. Maybe that's what happened to the cleaner? Paid £50 for this room and it was far, far inferior to a Travelodge or an Ibis etc. I have stayed in cheap hotels in India, Morocco and The Gambia and they were all cleaner than this.

The place is a squat! I booked via booking.com, checked the reviews, and all was good. We were allocated a room on the ground floor next to the kitchen/living and back entrance. The room's standard was not as shown in the pictures—molds all around the bathroom walls. At midnight, a bunch of kids (not sure whether they were guests or the host's children) started parting, smoking weed, vomiting by our window, pisssing and slapping the door back and forth...told them off twice, but no results as they had been heavily drugged; I phoned the host -no answer...could not stand anymore and left at 4 am and drove home. The next afternoon, I spoke to the host; however, she had not seen my messages. I made an official complaint via booking.com. We should have called the Police..
