I felt the decor could have done with a freshen up in the dining room. The. Trolly which was used to put used plates & cuttelrey on could have been cleaner as it was stood in the dining area where food was been eaten.

A lot of choice at breakfast, enough to suit everyone. From hot full English , cereals, fruit, yoghurts etc Also a good selection of drinks with 3 choices of juice plus Tea, Coffee, latte, Cappucino

Nothing really although we didn’t expect to pay supplements on our evening meals.

Breakfast was very good plenty of choices Seating area was also good we never felt rushed all very relaxing.

This was our first stay in the Original part of the hotel. The stairs to the top floor are very narrow and not suitable if you have mobility issues (like me). Although access was awkward, the room itself was the same high standard as those in the newer wing with the lift.

Love the location and all the staff who are always so helpful and friendly. The pool is lovely too.

Hotel of choice when working in the area. Spacious bedroom with comfortable bed, seating and adequate power and lighting points. Housekeeping generally good - bathroom particularly. Dinner and breakfast rarely disappoint.

Issue with original room whereby fuse blew so no power in sockets. Staff we so incredibly helpful and moved me immediatley to a better room that was available

Think we were in the furthest room away from reception. Plus right up in the eaves of the building. So many stairs up and then down. My knees definitely felt it.

Mature people like us do NOT like to be constantly referred to as GUYS ie "Hi Guys" The restaurant staff were mainly young and should be informed to discriminate how they communicate with guests.

Food choices were bit sparse and random, breakfast could have been fantastic if warmer , coffee machine reverted to normal coffee when latte wasn’t working

It is probably a leftover from COVID but i do think having someone make your bed, give you clean towels and refill the coffee/tea is something you look forward to when you stay at a hotel so not having that was disappointing. It isn't hard to call and ask for more teabags and milk but it just doesn't feel as much of a treat. The room could also have been cleaner. An old rotting rose petal came out of the bath tap/plug switch and there were dried rose petals under the bed with a dried up stem. There were also some interesting water marks on the wall behind the bed. The bar menu beef burger was fine but a little dry.

Everything was as expected and the staff were very nice. Breakfast was extensive and tasted good.

Loads of lady birds all round room when I told staff they said email them the complete didn't even go and check room etc Also the pool was hard to use around the swimming lesson was not a relaxing experience

Food only evening meal. No Option for tea and coffee in reception areas. Or even the club house for a light bite. There is nothing from early breakfast to the excellent evening meal. Missing just that something in the middle.

Being honest having been here every month for several years The Jacuzzi needs repairing properly only one set of jets work and poorly

The room was far too hot even with the windows open, heating off and fans on. Shower hot water also far too hot. Swimming pool loungers dirty with stains and crumbs. Staff ill-informed about different rooms.

Check in at 4pm and check out at 10am seemed a bit mean on time. Many places have check in from 2pm and check out by 11am. This would have made the stay more worthwhile for one night.

Some rooms doesn’t have windows, so when you do booking you need to be very careful. We stay there for 2 nights so first night we didn’t have window on our room, and for second night we change the room.
