Location was good, lovely quiet setting and site. Hot showers, comfy beds. Lovely, friendly staff. Lots of picnic benches.

The staff are very helpful, the pod was lively and clean. Everything you need for a nice family holiday. Ideally located to visit lots of places and lots to do.

I cannot really write anything negative about this place . Just thought the bikes were a bit expensive, if you had a family of four £120 for a day is far to much and i think if the price was lower they would be used much more.

Love the place very conveinent for our needs, walking distance to village. The pods was perfect for the four of us, would of been better if the ammenities was open (we just missed them)will definatley be booking again, i have told all my friends about this little gem.

Some shelves maybe could come handy.

It’s very basic, but clean and comfortable. It was warmed up by the time we got there and we could access our pod easily. Alan sent a message and left a voicemail to make sure we could find our place and gave great advice the next morning, lots of useful info. Thank you so much.

Really exciting to find a pod for a family of 5! Nice, warm, clean and simple. A great way to “camp” without bringing so much stuff. We will be back again soon.

The pod was tidy and clean with nice space out the front to enjoy evening cooking and eating with friends. The showers were warm and clean too.

The only thing we had trouble with was the key safe. Tho' overall there was nothing we didn't like. It was great for the money.

The pod was lovely & clean & warm, it could maybe do with a little folding table, so we could play games as we didn't fancy going to the separate games/ family room, & a mat inside the door as the outside mat was soaking wet. The toilets were lovely & warm & the shower was fab. The lighting to & from the toilet blocks was great too.

Bathrooms could be better. Did not like that there are no separate bathrooms for men and women. My young daughters did not want to go to the toilets because men were in them. So they ended up having to wait to go to the toilet or showering until the bathrooms were empty. Nowhere to put clothes while showering except on the wet floor.

The sat nav took us to the wrong postcode. However, we switched to wayz maps and it took us to the correct location. Best to drive to bowness then it is 2 miles away.

Some toilets not flushing, faeces and urine visable, not enough toilet roll during the night, I understand check out is at 10am but wasn't.expecting a member of staff to be standing around in the car park mentioning that they come early to remind guests make sure all guestd are out for 10am. Made us feel very rushed, bit choatic with other guests rushing around to get sorted. Had to either leave door blind up or roll up when going out the door, as it was fixed to the door frame and not the window frame, bit of a nightmare during the night trying to remember so you didn't walk into it

Location very quiet, warm and comfortable. Plenty of bright lighting outside great during the night when going to use the bathroom. Shower was lovely and hot. Pods were very clean, key accessible. Outside area tidy, bins available.

Sauna was down when we went which is one of the reasons we booked :( but it was damage from a storm so no one’s fault!

Absolutely nothing to say negative about this tranquil set up only wish I could have stayed longer!

Loved our short but enjoyable stay at the camping pod. The heating was great, came over prepared with extra unnecessary bedding as was toasty was inside! Clean and comfy in a fabulous setting. Even saw pheasant and a squirrel on way to toilet block with was nearer than anticipated. Communication about booking spot on! Perfect!!

The toilets and kitchen were nice and clean. The whole site was whole site was tidy. Alan The bloke who who works there was a great help. Cheers pal. We found the cafe at Ambleside Cheers again stay safe.
