I was in a room next to the restaurant, too noisy for me after being awake for 21 hours. Other than that no complaints, value for money.

The room - number 14 - was adequate. A kettle was provided. It wasn't that clean, and faced onto the A10 / Ely Road. I wake early anyway, so the start of the early morning traffic didn't bother me, but you have to be prepared for heavy trucks and cars from around 05.30. The room was fine - comfortable bed, and TV (Freeview), that occasionally suffered from dropout or pixelation, either because of the heavy storms in the area that week or rather large trucks passing! The shower worked fine - plenty of hot water - though the door didn't quite close (it was off one of its runners). The general environment of the property was a bit run down, dirty, and litter around .... a very large car park suffered from this, particuarly.

Basic, very limited: it comprised sliced white bread for toasting, squashy croissants or pain au chocolat - basic bagged supermarket quality; margarine and budget Tesco strawberry jam; bananas; various cereals and porridge; milk; toaster, kettle; tea bags and instant coffee.

Kitchen breakfast food a bit hit and miss. Basic cereals, milk, sugar, bread (toast),tea ,coffee (no spread or jam that I could find)

For me location was good, as not far from Newmarket where I wanted to visit. Single room not fancy (no soap or shampoo). Clean sheets and bath towel. Table and chair. Wardrobe with coat hangers. Workable Wi-Fi. Radiator turned on for me. Door straight outside, only a footpath away from the A10. Walk around back to kitchen area. Large car park. Lucky for me the Indian Kitchen restaurant was not open so no bad odours from the food.

Location on Google map is smack in the middle of the road and arriving at night was a nightmare as we drove passed few times and the Lodge is unnoticeable in the dark and esp when the lodge is right at an intersection. Lighted signage would help and on Google map shop be at the restaurant location. Tq

Unfortunately I haven’t sleep very well because in the middle of the night I was bitter by fleas and wake up itching with a lot of red marks. They need to inspect and clean properly the room. The breakfast wasn’t any good as well. Very disappointed with the accommodation.

There were no tea/coffee or cups in the room, so having a kettle in the room was pointless. The people staying in the other rooms next to us were talking very loudly early in the morning. There was also a leak behind our toilet

Staying next to a busy main road, very little sleep 1st night. Rooms desperately I'm need of a clean one had s sticky floor.The breakfast was laughable, crowded area,dingy, just bread and cereal left one slice mouldy. Had breakfast out second day. Don't do it!!!!
