There was nothing that we didn't like.

We had an amazing weekend in the cottage. It's very well equipped with all the 'home' utilities. Very clean and cozy. The beds are very comfortable. Overall i will highly recommend it!

Couldn't get the dishwasher to work! probably my fault.

Fantastic and comfortable cottage. Easy to find a few minutes from supermarkets etc. Well equipped kitchen and super lounge.

Lovely weekend away at Woodend, the cottage is beautiful and only a short drive from the centre. Great communication from Dawn throughout our stay. We will look to return in the summer to do more exploring of the area 😊

Coming back to Woodend this Christmas was like coming home for the holidays. For one thing, Dawn remembered how much we loved a roaring fire in the fireplace that she made sure we had enough wood to get one going when we got there. The familiarity of the place made it a cosy Christmas. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave and a washing machine. Detergent for all was also 8provided Located just outside town, Woodend is easily accessible by car to the town and all the surrounding areas. Short of a white Christmas, the stay was exceptionally comfortable. If this place is so cosy in winter, we can't imagine how wonderful a summer stay would be like. The sheep in the nearby farms come practically right up to the boundary and sunrises have been gorgeous on this visit.

Excellent location - perfect mix of quiet location but within good distance of town, shops, transport links, forest and coastal walks. The cottage has absolutely everything you would need and is extremely dog friendly with an enclosed garden. Really good sized property. All in we had a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Which parking spaces were ours was a little confusing at first.

Welcome treats and home from home items such as Shower Gel and food items were both welcome and good quality. The interior design was exceptional and the size of the rooms were better than the photos suggested. Communication from host was both quick and friendly :-)

The cottage was absolutely beautiful. Warm, homely, and spotless. Lovely outdoor space for a morning coffee for the adults, free WiFi for our teenager and even a bed for the dog. Thank you Dawn for such a wonderful stay.

Nothing - it was all great. Only thing I can complain about is that we didn’t stay long enough!

Really well equipped with everything you’d want for a perfect stay. Warm and cosy with open fire in the sitting room. Lovely south facing patio garden where we had breakfast on a couple of mornings. Dog friendly - Jasper loved it! Lots of great walks within half an hour’s drive. Dawn is a great host, really friendly and accommodating. Loved our stay here.
