The room was beautiful, the breakfast had a good variety and the location is brilliant as it is within walking distance of most restaurants and the shops! When I visit the lake district again, I will definitely stay here.

Our room faced the main road so was a bit noisy at night with window open. That said, earplugs solved the problem.

Very warm welcome from friendly hosts, Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, Great breakfast included. Wonderful free homemade cakes and wine. Free parking included.

Great location, very clean, host was welcoming and provided everything needed with great knowledge of the district. Could not have asked for anything better. Amazing breakfast included, free cake and wine.

There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to dislike. Mr Stewart helped us with the narrow parking at the back of the house. It was manageable and he was very warm and helpful.

Everything was awesome from beginning to end! Location was close to everything. Rooms was VERY clean , comfortable and very well thought out! We loved the thoughtful of extra hangers and the ability to leave our boots outside the room! We walked in at check on a cold windy day into the warm beaming smiles from Janet and Stewart and the aroma of freshly baked Ginger cake which were made complimentary in the pantry together with her other FABULOUS bakes and some wine!!! THAT was enough to keep this charming place WARM in our memories! Breakfast was delicious, hale and hearty. It was one of the best stays we had in our 3 weeks in the UK, if not the BEST!

We felt very welcome, the host was so hospitable. The free cake and wine was a lovely touch. It's in a perfect location and the host went out of her way for us at every point, even Googling places for us to eat. Would stay again and have thoroughly recommended to all friends and family.

Beautiful property, great location, very welcoming and friendly hosts. Reserved parking for us at the rear of the property. Welcome drink and homemade cakes on arrival. Even treated us to an Easter egg in our room! Breakfast was wonderful!

What a beautiful guesthouse! The property was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The host was lovely and provided a delicious breakfast. There were even complimentary homemade cakes and wine available. Parking was also a bonus and the location is in town so we could easily explore Ambleside on foot. Would love to stay again!

The hosts were so warm and welcoming. The room was extremely clean, with a lovely view! Freshly baked treats were out for guests to help themselves to everyday which gave it a lovely personal and generous touch. We have already booked to go back, can’t recommend it enough.

Nothing could have been better the stay here exceeded our expectations and will definitely be on our list to stay again.

A range of cereals,fruit and yogurt was available alongside a beautifully cooked breakfast, the owners could not have been more helpful. Location was central to Ambleside village and easy access in and out of the car park to venture out. Rooms were immaculate with a wonderful Mountain View, beds very comfy and room service daily to replenish towels/ tea and coffee facility’s within the room.

Such a lovely Guest House, Janet is friendly and welcoming and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Comfortable, clean and a great breakfast. Janet even offered us a complimentary glass of wine and cake which was much appreciated! Highly recommended.
