Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

HungaryAll other areas of the hotel need attentention if not necessarily refurbishment. The cleaning of the restaurant after wedding party should be complete. Cups and mugs should be really clean. The breakfast should not offer less on one day than on the other. Hot water for tee should be provided separately not from a coffee machine.
Refurbished dining area looks better than before. The breakfast offering was good by Hungarian standards. The rooms are big, the sauna and the pool are in operation.

SerbiaThe booking said there was spa and wellness, but they were actually renovating the facility. We got charged twice, due to their credit card terminal twice reporting declined payment, but the funds were actually deducted from our account and transferred into theirs. Three months later, we still haven’t received a refund even after several emails and phone calls. The waiter in the restaurant didn’t speak English and had no uniform. In general, it is a two star experience, tops. Never coming back again.

RomaniaAlthough we specifically asked for a double bed, we received a small room at the top floor, with two stand-alone separate beds. The room was well below our expectation, and not at all what we booked. The staff told us that the hotel is fully booked and this is the only room we can have, but in fact, at breakfast it turned out that only around 30% of the hotel was occupied (it was the middle of the week).
The location and the breakfast were fine. The surroundings are great. A lot of nice places to visit.

Czech RepublicPool has just 21 °C, jacuzzi also cold all the restaurant was marked "reserved", even the hotel was almost empty and we were not allowed to chose the nice place we like during breakfast, so instead of nice view to sunny garden we had view to the dark yard with a leader and steel pipes.

BelgiumThe room is very cozy, the bed is very comfortable and it is relaxing to stay. The hotel itself is very beautiful and it is perfect for walking distance when it comes to going to concerts and also not far from the train station where it is placed.
