I found the staff to be great (especially Sid) and the locations is decent. I found this contributed to having an amazing experience way above expectations. The free Tuk Tuk that came and picked me up from the bus stop was a nice touch too.

The home-cooked food was a highlight—tasty, wholesome, and just like ghar ka khana, with that perfect masala chai to top it off! The hosts are absolutely amazing, always smiling, ready to help with local tips, or organize fun activities like city tours. Okay, so I wasn't expecting much, honestly. Just a cheap place to crash. But Hoztel Jaipur? It blew my mind. First off, it was clean. Like, surprisingly clean. Comfy beds, decent AC, and no weird smells. That's a win in my book. The Real Deal: The Atmosphere The best part? The people. The common area was always buzzing with travelers from all over. I'm usually pretty shy, but everyone was super chill and easy to talk to. We'd swap stories, plan day trips, and just hang out. The rooftop terrace? Perfect for chilling with a chai and watching the sun go down. I even met this awesome group of backpackers, and we ended up exploring Amer Fort together. Way better than trying to navigate it alone The staff? Absolute legends. They were always up for a chat, gave killer recommendations for food and sights, and even helped me figure out the local bus system (which, let's be real, is a nightmare). They genuinely seemed to care about making sure everyone had a good time And the free Wi-Fi Was great My Verdict: Ditch the Fancy Hotels Honestly, Hoztel Jaipur was the perfect escape from the stress of university life. Cleanliness is top notch. Ankush is a super friendly and chill guy. Mansingh makes fantastic chai. The place in itself is clean, it feels like a home rather than a travel hostel. There is a good amount of books to read and coffee is great as well. The bathroom is nice with good shower pressure. They have good recommendations for food and what to do. Also helped me to get last minute train tickets.

The hostel sent a driver to pick us up from the railway station and, while dropping us off, this guy sold us a common scam story we were not yet familiar with. Without going too much in details, we accepted to go with him to a textile factory where they tried to rip us off. Thankfully, I warned Hoztel’s personnel and they promptly dealt with the guy :)

Location is not at the town centre, but then is more quiet n less busy

We stayed in a double room, which was clean and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. Housekeeping was available to keep our room tidy throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering home-cooked food when we had food poisoning and assisting with transportation arrangements to our next city. They also provided great recommendations for local attractions. The property has a lovely common area where we could meet and chat with other guests. Overall, it was a comfortable and welcoming place—truly a home away from home! One more plus point, they provide free transport to the property when we arrived at the train station. The manager, Ankush is alway available and communicative whenever helps needed. 👍🙏

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the railway station and all the major attractions in the city. The host was very friendly and interactive. Clean property with homely vibes. There was not much within walking distance, but nothing an Auto can’t solve.

Very welcoming and social atmosphere, the hosts were inclusive and made us feel at home away from home! We stayed in an amazing private room but did not feel we missed out on the traveller experience. Great social (or relaxing) spaces throughout the property, and activities can be booked through the hostel trusted rickshaw drivers. The property was comfortable and clean, and had all the amenities for travellers. Extensive breakfast options and some of the best Chai!

Bathroom is no frills, my partner complained about the hot water being inconsistent in the shower but I didn’t have any problems myself.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed in the private room was very comfortable and spacious, and the room size was large with plenty of space for suitcases. We thought the accommodation was great value for money, would definitely recommend staying here.
