I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mel Ville in Pondicherry, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! Mel Ville is not just a service apartment or a room—it truly feels like a home away from home. The hosts, Anup ji and Mehak ji, are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel like part of their extended family. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized. We requested an early check-in, and despite the early hour, Anup ji graciously accommodated us, even sacrificing some of his own sleep to greet us. Mehak ji was an absolute delight—her hospitality and warmth were unmatched. She surprised us with a complimentary breakfast platter, which was a delicious home-cooked meal that made us feel right at home. Communication throughout our stay was seamless, thanks to the WhatsApp group they created for us. They shared fantastic recommendations for places to visit, offbeat spots, cafes, and restaurants, helping us plan our trip perfectly. The care and attention didn’t stop there—they regularly checked in on us, kept the rooms spotless, and ensured everything was well-maintained. Anup ji also went the extra mile by helping us arrange a scooter rental at a fair price and helping us in booking slots for the Auroville Meditation Centre. The location of Mel Ville is perfect, right at the center of all the major attractions, making it easy to explore Pondicherry. In addition to their wonderful hospitality, Anup ji and Mehak ji’s family also run a fantastic resto-bar, Mel Whisk. Along with great food and drinks—it’s a lively spot with karaoke, Bollywood dance, live music, and more, which truly enhanced our overall experience and made the trip even more memorable. If you're planning a trip to Pondicherry, I highly recommend Mel Ville. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience you’ll cherish. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The location's proximity to the beach and White Town was great, but I wish the roads were a bit more walkable. However, the hosts were kind enough to provide me the contact information for local transport and made moving around the city a much more pleasant process.

Breakfast and meals were wonderful, and the hosts took extra to cater to my dietary preferences and needs. They regularly checked in with me about my needs during my stay and were very accommodating. I did an extended stay and they went out of their way to make sure my time there was comfortable and pleasant.

We recently had a wonderful stay at Mel ville, pondicherry , and I would highly recommend it to families ,couples , with colleagues and other guests! We traveled as a family of four, with two kids, and the apartment exceeded our expectations. we absolutely loved the place, and that says a lot!. Our children's memories of the hotel's comfort and beachside are still fresh in their minds few key takeaways from our stay: The apartment was incredibly well decor'ed , with ample natural light. Cleanly rooms and comfortable furnishings made our stay feel like home. The beds were plush and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The apartment's amenities were well-maintained and clean, which was a big plus for us (efficient and courteous room service as well) As a family-friendly accommodation, Melville truly delivers. The owners of the property, including the staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The location was also convenient for exploring the surrounding area (rock beach, manakula ganesh temple, aurobindo ashram along with very famous pubs and restaurants to hang out - all of these in a walkable distance from mel ville) Overall, our stay at "Mel ville" was a fantastic experience. It was more than wonderful experience staying at Mel Ville. it's more like a home than a hotel. Host Anup ji and Mehek ji are the power couple who manages the entire property. Got a chance to try Sindhi breakfast which was out of the world. It's home cooked and you won't get it in any hotels. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Anup ji also helped us out with getting rental scooter at fair price, suggested several must visit places in Pondicherry. Also, Anup ji and family have a great resto bar Mel Whisk. Unlike other resto bars where there is only food and drinks Mel Whisk conducts several activities like kariyoki, bollywood dance workshop, live music which enhances the overall vibe. Highly recommend this place. If you are visiting pondicherry Mel Ville should be your default choice.

One would experience the true essence of a home stay at Mel Ville. Anup and Mehek are a beautiful couple who run the homestay. They not just believe in providing value for the service but also add their personal touch in it. They love to engage with people and enjoy hosting. They have struck a perfect balance between interacting with the guests and respecting their privacy. Anup helped us by arranging 2 wheeler rentals during our stay and with a cab to chennai on our way out. Mehek was very kind to invite us for breakfast at their home with authentic sindhi food made by her. They also helped us with our itinerary and other activities during our stay. We cherish our experience at Mel Ville. It's not just a stay but a home stay.

To be very honest, i don’t have anything that i could possibly write.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming property(Mel Ville) and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and impeccable service made us feel right at home. The hosts were right at with us and helped us in settling down in the beautifully decorated and clean rooms (better than a 3star hotel) What truly set this property apart, though, was the staff and the hosts. Their friendliness and willingness to assist made our stay exceptionally enjoyable. We locked ourselves out twice during the stay and both ma’am and sir were extremely helping as well as well calm throughout. Anup sir even came and covered my car with their own covers as there are bird droppings and i absolutely loved it We were invited for breakfast and i pretty much initially thought that i was having the exact same experience that i had in Maldives but then again they were able to exceed that with the abundance of love, care and the feeling of being with the owned ones. (The food that was prepared was by Mehak Ma’am and i think she was all-in-one. (Best host, chef, baker, person to sit down and talk) They helped us with pretty much everything, starting from planning your itinerary to helping you get 2 wheelers, getting us a local auto driver, and ocean cruise schedules. My little one (Noddie) had a great time chasing birds on the terrace and cool down under the shed that have built for sitting area under the water storage. I accidentally broke one of their main door’s decorative ply but they were still so caring and calm. They didn’t take a single penny from me for the accidental damage i did, and had the positive attitude of don’t worry we will fix it. END OF STORY- In my whole life, I have never seen a better host than them and they will make your trip even better. Also, do not forget to visit Mel Whisks.

Our stay at Mel Ville was truly unforgettable. The hosts Anup and Mehak were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The amenities were top-notch, and I loved the attention to detail in every aspect. On the first day, we got a complimentary Sindhi breakfast (which was actually not included with the stay) that was prepared by Mehak and was truly delicious. She even baked Banana Walnut Chocolate Cake for all of us on the second day, which was too yummy.On the third day, we got to taste the cheese sandwiches and idlis too. They made us feel like we were at home. Such great hospitality. Overall, the property is very beautiful, it's very close to the city (white town) and everything is in walkable distance.They are the best (I mean it) hosts anyone could ever ask for with a top-notch hospitality. I would highly recommend Mel Ville to anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating stay. It's a true gem. Unfortunately, we only have the videos of the rooms and no images..but the images on the app looks exactly the same. So if you ever see these rooms vacant, just go for it!!! No second thoughts. A huge thanks to Anup and Mehak for having us and making our stay in Pondicherry a memorable one. Rating: 5/5

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mel Ville, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the warmth and comfort of the hotel enveloped me like a cozy blanket. The rooms were not only spacious and well-appointed but also provided the perfect ambiance for a restful retreat. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the home-made food. Each meal was a delightful journey for the taste buds, with flavors that reminded me of the comfort of home-cooked meals. The property is located at a convenient place, close to the beach and all other touristy places. The levels of cleanliness and comfort are excellent. However the most attractive feature of the property are the hosts. They leave no stone unturned to ensure that all requirements of the guests are met - very friendly and wonderfully helpful. I recently stayed at Mel Ville in Pondicherry and had a great experience. Anup and Mehak were very polite and welcoming. Their care for guests is top-notch. The room was clean and had a nice ambiance. They even offered a complimentary breakfast at their home. During breakfast, Mehak joined us, and we had a pleasant chat about local attractions and happenings. After checkout, we needed to store our luggage for a few hours, and they kindly allowed us to keep it there. The staff was also very polite and helped us load our bags into the cab. This was a very kind gesture. The location was convenient for exploring the city. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry.

The place is located in prime location, with walkable distance to the beach and extremely clean. Perfect facilities as well. Our stay at Mehak and Anup's Airbnb in Pondicherry was simply fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Mehak and Anup went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The Airbnb itself was impeccably clean and had all the amenities one could possibly need while traveling. From cozy bedding to essential kitchen appliances, everything was thoughtfully provided. What truly set this stay apart was Mehak's incredible cooking. She delighted us with delicious homemade meals throughout the weekend, adding an extra layer of comfort and luxury to our experience. Anup was an invaluable resource during our time in Pondicherry. His knowledge of the area, including recommendations for restaurants and activities, made exploring the city a breeze. He truly is a one-stop solution for all things Pondy-related! Nice spacious, clean rooms with all possible amenities and a fully functional kitchen. We stayed in Neon and it was a tastefully done room with plenty of light and air. The biggest plus point for Mel Ville was the hosts - Anup and Mehak. They ensured that we were taken care of from the time we reached until we left. We have come to Pondicherry many times but never have come across such hospitable hosts. The home cooked breakfast by Mehak was scrumptious and Anup was always there for every little thing that we required. They made us feel like home and we are looking forward to stay again the next time we travel.
