Very nice to stay with good Kanchanjungha view from the balcony. The ower of the house is very helpful and kind. Even during late night they managed to bring medicine and provide necessary items needed for urgency. I recommend this for nice homestay in Darjeeling. I rate 9/10.

A bit hard to find due to google maps but people in Darjeeling were super helpful so we got there! The hosts are responsive on WhatsApp so I should have messaged. I would recommend this.

The property is a good location - it is not right in the center of town which makes it a little quieter but it’s still a very quick walk into town. The view from the balcony is beautiful! We had a lot of cloud when visiting so we couldn’t see the mountains but just the view of town was great. The room has cozy blankets, tea/coffee station and an ensuite. It was very clean and no smell from the sewage (which I have found rare in India). Good hot water shower! The room itself is a bit cool but not an issue when your under the covers (and this may be less of an issue in the winter when heat is probably on). Beds are on the stiffer side, but not uncomfortable. I think the biggest selling part is the family that runs this. They are so lovely and helpful! They recommend places to visit and helped us book a taxi back to town. Not to mention they served a great breakfast and momos! We didn’t know what a home stay would be like so we were a bit hesitant, but this stay was great! We would recommend.

Mr & Mrs Shameer (owner) are two wonderful and kind host. They welcomed us as one of the family. They made us feel comfortable and cosy. Always there whenever we need some help. Mrs Shameer (Chandini) cooking is never to be missed. We felt like we were in 5 star hotel, in fact it was better than that. Highly recommended to all those who wants to go for a holiday in Darjeeling. No regrets. Will definitely stay there again.

Like many places in Darjeeling, the rooms are not heated and it can get cold, so come prepared. However the bed itself had a heater which was nice, so I slept well.

The owners are extremely nice and helpful. Good location, you can reach many famous spots in Darjeeling on foot. The terrace has a fantastic view.

A super great place to stay in Darjeeling!!! One of the best home stays in the last 10 years since I've been traveling! the host is very nice, tries to support us in everything, authentic and very warm-hearted! We even extended our stay because we felt so comfortable! The accommodation is incredibly clean, the views are great of Darjeeling and the countryside, the breakfast was delicious, there was hot water and a comfortable bed and room! We didn't miss anything! We would like to stay longer!

Dew Drop Guest House should be a great choice as it provides all day view of Kanchenjunga from balcony and terrace both. The hosts Mr. and Mrs. Gurung are extremely hospitable and amiable people with a very warm heart and helpful attitude for their guests. Our first visit to Darjeeling became memorable one specifically because of our choice of this guest house.

This guest house exceeded all our expectations. Me and my cousin stayed there for 2 nights in September 2023. Sameer uncle and Chandni aunty they are the super hosts. They made us feel completely at home, catered to our every single need, served us freshly cooked delicious home food. Both of them helped us to plan our days, to book a cab, constantly checking after our safety just like our parents do. While coming back aunty made us food for our night bus journey so that we don't have go for roadside food stalls. I am definitely coming back again and I recommend this place to everyone. Their hospitality is definitely one of a kind.

The bed was rather hard though this seems to be the way in India.

The breakfast was excellent and the view of the mountains from the balcony is breathtaking. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The home cooked evening meals are also excellent.

The view looking out from their patio which is covered in plants and flowers is extraordinary. They serve delicious breakfast here and you can take in this grand beauty. The couple that run the property Sandir and Chandi are wonderful gracious kind hosts, that will do the extra to make sure you are happy.

We stayed 3 nights at the Guest House. The best feature of the entire experience was that the hosts, Mr Kesia and Mrs Chandni Gurung are fabulous persons. They took personal care to ensure that we were very comfortable. In fact, they practically treated us as if we were old friends of theirs. The location of the property is superb, being just 10 minutes walk from the Railway Station, yet insulated from the noises and pollution of the traffic on the nearby road. The property also has a commanding view of the Himalayan range and, given suitable weather, the view of Mt Kanchenjunga can be breath taking. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.
