It’s important to take into account that there is only one shower for 4-5 rooms and a small kitchen. If there were other people, it could get really tight

outside building a bit old, but inside freshly renovated, clean, light...Its really exceeded my expectations. we were two couples in whole building, its really comfy and nice.

Very simple accommodation, yet the bed was great. The room is quite small. For four adults and 4 pieces of luggage it was very tight. But it was enough for a short stay. Breakfast was sufficient. The kitchenette and the equipment are very nice. Unfortunately the fridge was very small, we had to leave some of the food in the car overnight. On warm days this would be a problem. There is practically nothing in the area. The local cafe was unfortunately closed in the evening/morning. We welcomed the possibility of coffee in the kitchenette. Anyway, thank you very much to the owner for everything.

The coffeehouse doesn’t open until 11 so we didn’t get to experience that.

We loved this Guesthouse. It was clean and comfortable and the heated floors in the bathroom were dreamy.

Smartly designed and maintained interior, comfortable beds, convenient bathrooms and breakfast room which is small for the house but if one can arrange its shared use with other guests, no problem there. Nice coffee on the ground floor unfortunately opening as we were leaving at 10:30. As is usual in Iceland you don't meet the host (all is beautifully informal) but feel cared for anyway.

Loved little place, loved the host, loved breakfast. Its stunning ride to it. Strange little town. Found one restaurant in and had our dinner, because this place does not have kitchen

Was all Perfect

the whole house was new, the room was very comfortable. It was all clean, the food was awesome and the host in the Cafe was a very lovely women, who gave us advice about our trip.

Beautifully renovated, comfortable and functional area above a coffee shop. The room we rented was very nice, beds were comfortable and there was a small sink. The linens were white and clean. There were 5 rental rooms and a full bathroom and half bath. There was also a kitchen with a dining area. The breakfast was included and featured an assortment of cereals, milk, rolls, cheese and cold cuts, and delicious treats from the coffee shop downstairs. The wonder was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

The only dislike had nothing to do with the host, but there was a group of guests that kinda of took over the space at breakfast. Kinda felt like we were a large family and everyone was grabbing for their fair share of food. All in all—we had a good breakfast—but had to sit up at a counter that was part of the serving area. (Just a small trivial complaint in a lovely stay).

Basic but very good. Klara guesthouse offers self-check in, rooms were spotlessly clean. Good hot shower and a small kitchen that is well-equipped. A great place to overnight if you need a break from the tent/are going to see the whales in dalvik the following morning. Communication from the host was very reactive. Our stay was exactly what we needed 😀
