The shower was very slippery and wobbly. And the outlet was too slow. There was also no plug in the kitchen sink which makes it hard to wash dishes. It would also have been nice to have blinds in the living space. Breakfast small and uninspiring.

I thought the living room and kitchen were lovely. The views were fantastic and you can see glaciers from behind the house. It also had a guitar which was good fun.

The staff was cold, almost unfriendly. Seems they have too many tourists and act like they are tired of them (eventhough its bread and butter for the region)

The breakfast needed a few more options, but this is a minor complaint. The location is not close to anything else, as it's about a 25 minute drive to Hofn.

This is a bed and breakfast style of guest house run by a couple. They were very helpful when we messaged about our late arrival outside of check in time. The room was spacious and the shared bathroom was only shared with two other rooms. Laundry facilities on site worked well. Included breakfast was small but to a good standard. The view from the property is fantastic with a great outlook on the glaciers.

I noticed in the bathroom it looked like the start of mold. I was the last to shower and the only to open the window so the stream could go out. Maybe a bathroom vent or something simple to let the air out or clean with vinegar daily. I was also sad so find out their golden had passed.

The hosts were very welcoming and made check-in easy for late arrival. The location was easy to find and the views of the glaciers were beautiful. The farm animals were calm and keep to themselves. Breakfast was good as well.

It’s clear they put a lot of care into their facilities - everything feels very warm and welcoming. In fact we were immediately welcomed upon arrival by the feline employee of the month who also guarded us and night and greeted us immediately the next morning. We had dinner and breakfast at the facility which was very convenient - highlight was the fish soup at dinner, which came with what I am pretty sure was homemade bread - absolutely delicious! Very easy to get to right off the 1 and overall wonderful place to stop off!

Wonderfully cosy farm with sheep, chicken and geese, run by a lovely couple. The room was cute, beds comfortable and the kitchen warm. Breakfast was nice, with home made jams and fresh fruits and vegetables.

the way the keys work for the door and bathroom is a little difficult. sharing between multiple adults can require some coordination, but not a huge deal

The breakfast was amazing with a great variety of food. The staff really nice, they put us some extra pillows and always willing to help. I will definitely repeat this place in my next visit to Iceland :)

You need to take your shoes off at the front door and walk to the room on really cold floor, make sure to bring slippers if this bothers you.

Breakfast included a lot of vegetables and very fresh products, it was awesome. A restaurant just next to the place and served a very delicious soup. That was an excellent choice to have dinner there.

The staf was friendly, nice and helpful. We liked our stay in the farm with the view to the glacier. The breakfast was fabulous: there was plenty of locally made jams, spreads, smoked goat meat. They also brew beer.

The kitchen was not very well equipped: the pans were old, there was insufficient equipment to do some cutting. This part of the venue received a bit little little attention of the hosts. And with all those chickens, we would have expected a bit more choice of (boiled) eggs at breakfast.

Quiet and tidy farmhouse and fine room to stay. Included linen and fine towels. Fine breakfast every morning. Wonderful brochure about the farm and all the space to walk around. Location is good for sightseeing in the area.

Floor to ceiling window opposite bed facing towards restaurant building, so had to keep it shut for privacy but would have liked to be able to watch the chickens etc. Bathrooms could have been better..
