I had a new room with a private entrance onto the street with a small covered window for privacy. This had advantages (no stairs and a sense of independence) but I was expecting a room with window/ Juliet balcony overlooking the Duomo. The host offered to make a change when a room became available. I think the room description should be more accurate on booking.com to manage guests expectations.

Fresh, clean newly decorated room. Very central location in walking distance of main sights. Friendly host, eager to assist- helped book great tours and advised on booking bus to Palermo.

Location - right next to Piazza del Duomo and easy access to everything. Walking distance to train and bus station, and airport bus stop. Host - Max and Tiziana were wonderful; Max in particular provided lots of information, places to visit, good food recommendations and very responsive from start to end Clean and functional room

Our room was a little dark, but it was on the quiet side of the building so that was a good thing!

Max was very helpful, arranging transfer from the airport, and providing information and maps. Location of the property is absolutely perfect for seeing all the sights of Catania within a very short walk. Restaurants and shops were only 2 minutes away.

The accommodation is great! It has all the amenities, it is silent, and the location is the best possible. The host Max was extremely attentive, available when needed and gave us valuable directions for transportation, places to eat and places to see.

A very small shower and the hot water doesn't work well. We arrived during the weekend and parking was difficult.

A shower was a bit hard to adjust, was too cold or too hot all the time. A mattress had a weird slops on both edges of the bed. Pillows was too thin and hard for my liking but it was only a teeny tiny cons compare to a massive pros of the property which is location, convenience cleanliness and overall cosyness.

The best location in Catania, super convenient room-you live practicaly in a flat on the edge of the Piazza Duomo and the perfect super friendly host.

Nothing, it was perfect for our stay

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The location was best of all.. at the heart of the city centre with so many restaurants only a few steps away. Max was an amazing host. He gave us a lot of information and a map showing important places to visit. I was also very impressed by the taxi service that Max helped arrange for us. The taxis were comfortable and the drivers were reliable, professional and courteous.

Great location, right in the action and so close to everything you could want to be near! We were warmly greeted by the friendly and welcoming Max, who gave us a brief introduction to the place and some lovely tips for the area and where to grab dinner. Comfy room with aircon and tasteful traditional decor, quiet at night.

It wasn't the fault of the accommodation, but it was loud many times at night. Of course it's no wonder you book accommodation in the center :)

If I had to name some negative things about the property they would be , The Wardrobe that needs some shelves so one can take things out of the luggage and put clothes on especially if you are more then 1 person in a room, the TV that is basically there to decorate the room because only 4 channels were available , all in italian and besides that the connection is not good at all.

First of all the Cleanliness, the Location is amazing, Both Max and Tiziana ( the hosts ) were really helpful and nice.

Location was perfect, room was very comfortable and home like vibe, check in / check out excelent, Max, "the receptionist" was very helpful, he gave us a lot of info about what we can do in Catania, where we can eat very well etc.
