You have to take a walk to go to the center of Anacapri, so I would recommend having a small car of motorbike. The walk is okay but it is almost 20 min going up, and you can get lazy sometimes to do that walk :D

The hosts and their kindness and warmth! It felt so much home! They gave us free homemade jam as a gift! the fruits and the garden is amazing The view from the pool is also fantastic!

we did not expect nor we were seeking luxury design rooms, so it's not that we "did not like it", but hopefully readers of these reviews will have the right level of expectations. Expect cleanliness, a comfortable bed, access to your own patio and from there to the garden, functioning wifi and a television if you really must...

We liked everything at this hotel. It has a good location, far away from the crowded streets. Our room was very nice, clean and spacious. The staff is very, very nice, friendly and helpful. They have a big garden with goodies that we also ate at breakfast. We truly recommend this hotel.

The pool water was a bit colder than expected even during daytime. I could not jump in there, it was too cold for me, however the pool area itself was perfect for relaxing.

It was great arriving back to our room after each day. The room was clean, towels changed and the bed was made. It was truly comforting to know that a comfortable place is waiting for us after a tiring day. the breakfast was also great. I loved the bread buns which were home made and the cakes were heavenly. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I am very happy we found this place for our honeymoon. And also.... Vittorio..... most energetic dog in the world.

Super nice & friendly family running the hotel - you feel like at home. Lovely rooms with private patio, facing a wonderful garden in which you can relax. Cozy atmosphere all arround including the hotel's pets. Excellent quality brekafast with home grown veggies and fruits and home-made cakes.

lovely spot in a real neighborhood. walking distance of city square and restaurants. staff was very helpful with making reservations and offering recommendations. breakfast was good in a nice outdoor spot and property has beautiful flowers.

The only thing we can think of is that the bed was a little firmer than we prefer.

The grounds are beautifully designed and impeccably maintained, an oasis bursting with a medley of flowers, lemons, and figs. Our room was exactly as advertised, plenty of space and very inviting and clean. The pool was peaceful and lovely, though we barely had time to enjoy it with all the places to see on the island. Antonietta and Simona were very kind and helpful, with excellent communication before, during, and after our stay. They really went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible. (We left a pair of sunglasses in the room, and they managed to return them to us very quickly.) Breakfast was lovely, with tons of fresh-baked cakes and fresh fruits. (As hungry Americans we are sometimes disappointed by skimpy Italian breakfasts—not so at Hotel Al Mulino!) Anacapri is quiet and beautiful, and we were so glad we stayed on the less crowded side of the island. The ~20min walk to Anacapri center was lovely if a little uphill, and the bus is also a convenient option. Restaurants offer free round-trip shuttle service, easily scheduled by the Al Mulino staff, so we always had amazing meal options and were never stranded, even though we didn’t have a vehicle.

The location was great, close to the main town (~10-15 minutes) and close enough to the beach by bus or walking (if you enjoy a scenic walk for about 25 minutes with a fair amount of stairs towards the end of the walk to access the beach.) Breakfast was delicious, lots of homemade cakes and a good selection of fruit, yogurts and savoury food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My only small "could do better" are that for the money I would have expected some complimentary water / tea (it was offered on arrival but nothing in the rooms) and conditioner in the bathroom.

Super cute hotel in Anacapri. All the team were very welcoming and helpful. The grounds and rooms are perfectly kept. The room was large and clean. Location is great, you can walk into the centre of town in 15mins but you are far away for peace and quiet. There are bus stops to all the key sights round the island within 3 mins walk too.
