It's advertised as a 4 star Hotel, which it definitely isn't. It's a 3 star. We had really hot weather and never in, but if the weather wasn't good, the lack of 4 star facilities and quality might irritate you. Breakfast is basic, but ok. A simple thing, like the toaster doesn't work, was mentioned by someone else in a review and remains the same. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which is pretty standard these days. This hotel is riding on its lovely staff and location. There is no investment in the hotel building, or facilities. Yes, it's cheaper than Sorrento. However, it wasn't cheaper than a 4 star boutique hotel in Rome, near the Trevi fountain.

The location of this hotel is really good, it's 10 mins walk to the station, Piano di Sorrento. There is also a nearby beach, €20 for 2 loungers and an umbrella, and restaurants all within walking distance. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel was clean. The shower was hot and fresh towels every day. The rooms are dated but were comfortable, and the air conditioning did work. The pool is good, it's clean, nice and deep. It's not really a hotel to sit around the pool, as most people are there to see the sites. However, if you do want to sit for a couple of hours, we could get a lounger. We stayed an extra night instead of going to Naples so that we could walk to the beach for a second visit.

The hotel is a bit worn down and the beds, especially the extra bed if booking for more than 2 people, were not the best (good enough for us to sleep though). Wifi didn't work on the top floors.

Good value for money, staff was nice and helpful and spoke good English, pool area was very nice and breakfast was good. Given the price and the mixed reviews the hotel well exceeded our expectations.

The pool closed too early. After walking along the red-hot Pompeii we really wanted to cool down a bit, but… 🙁 It should be noted the hotel is not too close to the sea.

Lovely hotel, amazing staff and love the location! Train station isn't too bad of a walk but be careful if out at night as the trains from Sorrento don't return after 10pm we found. The staff even gave us a free upgrade which was much appreciated. Would happily stay again.

Beach towels were dirty. Hotel room was ready 2 hrs after check in time. Room did not have 4 star facilities (kettle, slippers). Staff was not friendly despite room was not ready at check in time. Even though booking mentioned check in 2, they said it is at 3 , and checked us at 4.

Rooms were clean and spacious, big pool with lots of sun chairs/ outdoor seating. Breakfast everyday was good. Excellent staff. 10 min walk from the train station, doesn't take long to get to Sorrento. 15 min walk to the beach.

The shower was mouldy & could hardly open the screen door. No draw space whatsoever. Air conditioning only worked slightly but not on very often as problem they told us. Pool was in very bad condition The staff were lovely ladies

On a weeknight ( not at the weekend) it wasn’t always possible to have a late night drink after returning from a meal out.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel had a family feel to it. The location is quiet, which we liked, but with plenty of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The pool was a nice size and our children had a great time in there with other children.

What spoilt our trip was not having the ability to adjust the AC ourselves. Its controlled by reception. It woild turn off night making sleeping very difficult in the heat that we're not accustomed to. We complained twice, no action was taken so we had to start opening the door to the balcony at night. Which only led to me getting bit by mosquitoes. I wouldn't stay here for this sole reason. If AC is advertised, it should have been provided at its full capacity or as at least listen to your cuatomers and put it on for them as per their requirements.

The breakfast was great. Staff in the restaurant very friendly. The lady that greeted us in reception was very friendly. Room was clean and spacious.

The internet did not work the entire time we were there! Due to the lack of internet they were unable to use my credit card and asked me to go her cash!!! The rooms were much smaller than expected!

Staff was very confused trying to help us book tours even when they offered.

Good location close to Piano di Sorrento train station and Saint Angelo bay. Simple but nice and clean rooms! Pool area was nice.
