No screens on windows so we were kept awake/ bitten by mosquitoes as we like to sleep with the window open. Heating could not be turned off.

Good sized room, separate shower (with view from the bed for extra entertainment) and toilet, great location.

Nice basic property in a good location. Far enough away from the busy areas to miss the congestion but close enough to be able to get to the key areas fairly easily. Comfy clean bed and room, towels changed everyday. Overall good value for money.

If we have to come up with recommendations... the position of the plugs was not ideal and my husband has a lot of 'issues' using the shower without a 360° partition around him so we end up with a quite wet bathroom floor... I like him so I can't change him, just not yet.

The room is simple and small but super clean and extremely practical. We had a very quiet night and the bed made us sleep very comfortably. The room also has a small tea kettle with cups and that was very appreciated. Recommendations for the restaurant very true. Absolutely loved the reclaimed wood for the floor and view over Venice's roofs.

The location is awesome, it’s central but not overcrowded. Just few minutes of walk to the train and bus station. Friendly owner, clean.

I couldn’t use the wi-fi, because I didn’t find the password in the room.

It was a cute and comfortable room with hot water, warm and clean space and without tiny smells in the 3th floor. The host was the best. She sent all information about self check in before our arriving. We arrived in the late evening so the self check in was essential part of our journey. Good location is near railway and bus station. The way was about 5 minutes. The bakery which worked from 7:30 am was in next door . The grocery which worked until 23 pm was 5 minutes by walking.

Our room's floor was swollen and we constantly tackled because of the huge bulk on wood floor and it was not possible to close the bathroom door completely due to the condition of the floor. The property owner forwarded that they will fix it after the first night but it was not fixed. Outside was a bit noisy as there is a restaurant right next to the hotel and they start

Thin walls. People really loud late at night (even after midnight). both inside the hotel and outside. Bring your ear plugs and hope for the best. Shared bathroom was clean, but unexpected.

Needed more plug sockets. Small fridge and lamp plugged in at the socket by the bed which meant no space for charging phone close to bed without unplugging light (not good if you want to see when you get up in the night) or fridge.

Location great on quiet side of town with good local ameneties and close to bus station. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was fine for solo traveller, comfy single bed and even though it wasn't en suite, the only thing not in the room was a toilet. Still had own shower and sink which was a plus.

I didn’t like the stairs leading up to the bathroom and the ceiling was very low. The shower had barely any hot running water so we had cold showers :(

Our room was on the 3rd floor and there's no lift to get there with the luggage (the staff did take it to the room though because when we arrived the room wasn't ready).

The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us keep the luggage after check out as we had the afternoon to ourselves to roam around before leaving Venice. When we came to collect our luggage they offered water and restroom to use. The room had an ensuite shower and the shared toilet was clean and convenient.

Unfortunately the room we had (first floor, tiny door) had poor Wi-Fi reception. You had to either sit on the toilet or go outside in the corridor to get any reception. Not a deal breaker for non social media addict like us, but still annoying when you wish to plan your next day or do some banking... The owner was super receptive when I brought the issue up and says she will most likely run an independent connection for that room. Another thing was the hot water at night. Be sure not to be the last room using it or you'll run out somehow.

The hotel was well located, staff super friendly. The room was very nice, clean and had everything we needed, even a mosquito plug!
