Silverware and KitchenAid are pretty old

Apartment in the old city, many bars and restaurants near the location. Easy check in and access without personal contact. Clean and spacious apartment.

The place did not have a waste bin, which, turns out, is pretty necessary. I asked for one and was told they'd check on it, but never got one, so we made do with plastic bags. The temperatures are not adjustable on site and we were often pretty cold and there were no extra blankets. We had to ask to adjust the temp and they turned it up 1 degree. Was still cold. But this is minutiae. The place was great.

The instructions made everything easy to find and get in. The place is absolutely beautiful. It's clean, spacious, has lovely modern rustic charm. The washing machine worked so well, which is key on longer stays! Everything worked well. It was pretty quiet, even if we're at a corner that gets cars and some foot traffic. The location is ideal because it's just enough away from tourist swarms and in the best part of the oltrarno. Near bars, restaurants, and groceries. Plus, everywhere is walkable.

My feet is always covered with dust whenever I walk around the apartment. Seems as though the floor hasn't been mopped and we even found a big dried up leaf. The bedside tables were dusty too. There's a bar right below the apartment and we can clearly hear the noise from them since the bedroom window faces the main road. Maybe change the blinds to curtains, to reduce outside noise? Also, the bedroom blinds do not fully block the light from outside, it's very bright once the sun is fully risen.

The apartment felt like home, spacious and very well decorated.

The location was awesome. A few minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio. The lounge/balcony inside the living room was a really nice place to relax after visiting the vibrant city.

The apartment itself is very decent. The pictures provided give a good representation. There are, however, a few points, which need to be mentioned and to be considered when booking this apartment. The steps to the apartment, mentioned by other reviewers, are not to be ignored when considering making a booking. They are severely steep - imagine an angle of 75-80 degrees - and narrow. Being on the second floor there are around 20 steps. Both myself (50+) and my daughter (teenage), though we are both very fit, found the climbing of these steps very strenuous. Going down them nerve-racking as their step is small. Should one slip out the fall is steep without any proper possibility to avoid injury. Therefore, if you have a lot of or heavy luggage, troubles walking, are not the fitess, have small children, we would not recommend booking this apartment. The next point to consider is location. The location is good. It is walking distance (10-20 minutes) to most key attractions and areas. However, it is in one of Florence’s ZTL areas. A key factor if you have a car. Cars, without a valid permit, can only enter and park in this area (any ZTL defined zone) during VERY limiting times as per the ZTL street signs, which are not easy to see, and if lucky a visible digital sign but not always. You will get a fine each time should you enter such a zone within the non-permissible times. For whatever reason! Even entering by mistake! There are cameras. Fines can arrive months after your visit. The NON-permissible times for where the apartment is located are Monday to Friday 0800 - 2000, Saturday 0800 - 1600 as well as daily 2300-0300. These non-permissible times make drop-off and pick-up even of luggage very difficult. Exception is only if you decide to have your car parked in one of the parking garages within any of these zones. But these are not cheap! And in this location not nearby. Also the entrance of the apartment is on a busy street which makes stopping impossible.

I traveled with my husband and stayed in the Acacia unit for 1 month. Everything was perfect and it looks better than the pictures in real life. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds really comfy and the host was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended.Highly recommend!
