The only thing I didn't like was that my stay wasn't longer.

From start to finish, Dario did everything he could to make sure I got the best out of my stay. He gave recommendations and directions for everything I needed. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe here. I will definitely be returning in the future

This was a wonderful experience! Our stay exceeded our expectations, and I can confirm that all the positive reviews are absolutely true. Everything was perfect thanks to our welcoming host, Dario. He was always ready to help, offering great advice about the city and the coast, and he even treated us to delicious cups of coffee. The room was perfectly equipped, sparkling clean, and very tidy—it was a pleasure to stay there. Location-wise, it’s a 30-minute walk from the port, with shops and restaurants nearby. You can reach the center by bus, and the stop is just a minute away. I highly recommend this place; we felt both comfortable and safe throughout our stay. Thank you, Dario, for the great accommodation, the recommendations, and the chats over morning coffee :)

We had such a lovely stay here! The place was really clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Dario was amazing — super friendly and always happy to help with anything. He also prepared a really yummy breakfast for us on two mornings, which worked perfectly with our schedule and made things so easy. He made everything feel relaxed and welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back!

There was nothing I did not like.

The perfect Italian breakfast, as a coffee lover, the cappuccino and caffe was a great start to the day. Cornetto of choice was delicious. Dario is the best host you could want. He was happy to ensure needs were met, and shared lots of useful information and suggestions of where to visit and eat. Thank you Dario, hope to see you again.

Dario is an amazing host — very attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. From the very beginning he made us feel welcome and comfortable. He was always ready to help with anything we needed, gave us great recommendations about places to visit and things to see, and even offered us free rides, which made getting around so much easier. His kindness and helpful attitude really made a difference and helped make our trip in Italy much more enjoyable and stress-free. The accommodation itself is excellent. The place is very comfortable, clean, and well organized, and you can find everything you might need during your stay. It truly feels like a place where the host has thought about the comfort of the guests. One of the nicest parts of the stay was the mornings — every day we were welcomed with hot coffee and a fresh croissant, which was such a lovely way to start the day. Thank you so much, Dario, for your hospitality and for making these days so special for us. We truly appreciated everything and would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

If you're reading this review you may already have read many others talk of how the host Dario makes all the difference and possibly sounds too good to be true? As I did! On the contrary, DARIO IS A STAR and the reason you must try to get a booking here. As a mature traveller I've met many people in my life and have learnt not to like most of them 🤣. I spent enough time with Dario to know he's a genuinely good person and will make your stay as good as it could possibly be. If you're sometimes overwhelmed by being in a new city/countrybecause of language, culture, language etc, Dario will endeavour to give as much aid as he can. I can not speak highly enough and wish him all the best in life. This is more than a B&B if you want it and if you don't, just treat it as a great place to stay.

We spent 5 wonderful days in Salerno. Dario is an exceptionally attentive , kind and polite host ! He gives valuable tips on visiting different places in the town. The room was clean , cosy and with all necessities. Breakfasts are always served with care. We were spending every day in a beach , also traveling a lot along beautiful Amalfi Coast.

We cannot recommend Dario and Lambda B&B enough. Our room was modern and comfortable, and the breakfast of fresh pastries and coffee was great! Dario himself is an amazingly warm and helpful host - full of great recommendations for things to do in Salerno and beyond, and was extremely generous with his time, offering us lifts around and about, as well as his advice navigating the buses and ferries. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

We were staying for one week at Dario’s place and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable and the flat very close to a free beach. We could always rely on Dario’s great recommendations on places to visit and good food/drinks. He was always really kind and caring. We have experienced the Byzantine festival in Amalfi following a tip of Dario. All in all we enjoyed Salerno and Campania in general very much!

Our host Dario was always attentive to our needs, breakfast was always punctual and delicious. His direction and advice were essential to meet our trip's goals... we were able to do alot in two days...traveled to Capri, and to the Amalfi Coast and we will continue to Pompeii. Darious also shared with us really great restaurant locations. Hope to come back to Salerno as we now have a friend to visit. Highly recommend Lambda.
