A perfect place for a stay in Palermo - in the very center of the city, 10 min walk from the Cathedral and yet a place of serenity preserved from the city density. Room are quiet and both modern and typical, the garden gives the feeling that you are far from the town. Parking available for free in the place before the hotel is a must have. The staff is very kind and really caring about your stay, confort and visit.

Bastione Spasimo is a little gem located in the former medieval bastion of the town, in a charming neighborhood. You can easily forget how close it is to the railway station and some of the most important attractions (Regional Gallery, Botanical Garden, marina etc.) once you enter the dreamy garden surrounded by lemon plants. I did not have the time to try the pool, one more reason to go back soon. The beauty and comfort of the place are made more special by the people who work there, from the check-in to breakfast and cleaning service. As an experienced traveller, I have rarely met such professionalism, passion, kindness...and smiles.

Mostly our fault for not realising the season, but we were frustrated to find the pool completely covered even with the warm weather. It would be good to note when booking the times of year that the pool will be open.

Beautiful secluded location! The room was lovely (if a little small/lacking in storage). Great spot to base ourselves to explore Palermo. Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Its location is perfect for visiting the main attractions. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, very clean and fresh. The breakfast is very good. The host was very kind, friendly and efficient. The parking in front of the hotel was free and available.

The bedroom was small with no dressing table for my wife to do her make up. The hot tub didn't work properly as the water was not even luke warm.

The property is beautiful as is the wall garden and breakfast room. All staff were attentive and polite. Breakfast was good. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the accommodation at the end of our stay as we had a late flight home. Overall good value for money
