The location was amazing, close to the marina and old town! The rooms were all newly renovated and had an ocean view. Mariella was great at check in and gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and beaches. She also assisted us with a reservation to a Agriturismo, which was fabulous.

The area in which Casa Jaume is located is pedestrianised, so if you hire a car then you need to park about 10-15 minutes away.

We stayed in Suite Estel at Casa Jaume and it was perfect for my friend and I. Had everything we needed and more, a perfect sized en suite, living room with fridge, sofa and table. There was plenty of room to store and hang our clothes, as well as lots of flat surfaces. There was even a drying rack and hanging line through one of the windows which was ideal for swimming costumes and towels after our beach days. We had cleaners pop in midweek to give the room a clean and they left some fresh towels. Daniella was super helpful during our stay and super quick to reply if we had any questions. Cannot recommend more - so lovely and great location!

One of the two air conditioning remotes did not work. You need to bring/buy your own shampoo and dush gel as the one provided is enough for one day. The particular thing I didn't like was the way the owner communicated about the waste disposal. You need to sort your waste very carefully and not to leave any waste in the apartment when you leave... a thing that is OK as a principle but needs to be communicated before making the reservation. I have the right to choose if I'm paying 150 eur per night and need to do my own cleaning at the end of my stay.

The best of Casa Jaume is the location. You are close to all the good restaurants in Alghero. The place is well maintained and very clean. It was nice to discover 2 bottles of water in the fridge (little investment, huge positive impact). Good communication with the owner via WhatsApp

The decor was basic. There wee no cups, glasses or corkscrew. It was a functional but not homely room.

One tiny little thing. The floor could have been mopped, but we had early check in. May be they were in a hurry with cleaning because of that.

We stayed at the suite Penelope, the property located just facing the sea.self check in was very easy and well explained by Francesca. The view through the window in the morning was amazing! The suite was cleaned everyday of our stay. We stayed facing the street and the restaurant - room itself is noise canceling so we were not able to hear any sounds coming from the streets.

The air conditioner is a bit noisy.

Francesca was a wonderful housekeeper. She gave us many tips about Alghero. Furthermore the room was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and modern.

Self served Coffee is missing for the morning. whilst tea is available. You would expect a Nespresso machine (even if it is not an Italian level coffee :) )

It would have been nice if towels changed every two days rather than three days. I could not find a safe in the accommodation to store passports, keys etc.

We weren’t given the code for the outside of the apartment so had to phone to get inside the building. We also had an issue with the safe running out of battery- would be good if this was changed frequently to avoid this panic & having to wait for person to come & help open it again.

The property is located right in the lovely old town of Alghero with lovely sea views & an excellent variety of bars & restaurants to be explored nearby. It was exactly as shown on the website & a perfect base for our holiday.
