The landlord was really so nice. We had a sore throat that he specially accompanied us to the pharmacy to buy medicine, explained to the clerk, and helped us. We also gave us lemons and oranges to relieve the symptoms. Finally, when we left, we were given a small local gift. The room is also very clean and tidy.

The hairdryer is not very powerful, so if you have a lot of hair that takes time to dry it might not be very practical. But this is a minor detail and didn’t spoil my stay

Great spot for a solo traveler, in the middle of everything, shops, bars, restaurants, beach, train station. Super comfortable bed, good shower, cleaning every day! I loved that is a family business and they provide a personal and warm treatment to guests. Thanks for such an amazing time!

Can be a little street noise … but that would not put us off re booking. Booking communication was excellent & super helpful .. we booked the family double balcony room. Loved sitting on balcony

My room had no view, but it was also quiet perhaps because it did not look out onto the street. Since my room was right next to the reception area, I heard other guests when they arrived, but it did not interfere with my ability to sleep in the slightest.

When you stay at Casa Marino, you will feel like you have discovered your long lost Italian sister! Really Netty could not be more welcoming or sincere. I had the great pleasure of also meeting her sister Roberta who was visiting. They are truly a dream team of hospitality. Their family has a history of embracing tourists, and it shows. When I was a little confused finding their place (probably due to travel fatigue on my part), they told me to sit where I was while Netty came out to escort me to their door. They apologized for problems that they had not caused (i.e., my AerLingus flight delay!). They stayed at the reception desk, beyond the end of their work day, to answer my numerous questions about where to do and what to do--despite the fact that their elderly aunts were waiting to have dinner with them. Netty gifted me hand-embroidered earrings she had made in between fielding guest questions. She also gave me a voucher for breakfast at the restaurant across the street, on my last day (even though this accommodation does not include breakfast), and wrote to me a few days after my departure to ensure that my solo travels were proceeding smoothly. Roberta and Netty were such warm ambassadors for their country, I recommend that you stay here just to make their acquaintance. Grazie Mille Netty!!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Netty & Roberta are the most wonderful hosts ever, and available from 8 - 8 every day. They make you feel like you’re at home. The location in historic Sorrento is both charming & convenient. We had a private balcony for apertivo overlooking a villa. The shop’s & restaurants are plentiful, of great quality and open late. We felt very safe and extremely taken care of. I would definitely make this my first recommendation for the best hospitality lodging experience you’ll ever have.

One of the most pleasant hotels I have ever stayed in. The sisters who work at the hotel are exceptionally nice. They seriously went above and beyond making our stay as comfortable as possible. I had never met a nicer host of a hotel than the two sisters who work there. The location is prime and the balcony was amazing to sit and people watch. All the devices inside the room were very new and updated. If I ever come back to Sorrento I would stay here again.

This place was amazing!!! I would stay here again without a thought. It is in the heart of Sorrento. You can walk from the train station. Walk everywhere. Modern, spotless and comfortable. The two sisters, Netty and Roberta, are so kind and welcoming. We had plenty of complimentary snacks, a safe, high end toiletries. Fluffy large towels, slippers, and a beautiful patio to enjoy the lively fun and music of this amazing place. We spent our evenings after a busy day, with a cold drink listening to the Italian music and people watching. You have everything you need here. The room is cleaned daily and replenished. Tea, bottled water, coffee. A very safe place if travelling alone. Restaurants and little shops all around you. Just book it and go, you’ll come home with the most amazing memories. Tip…..book the Campania Express train from Naples. Worth the extra money!! There is not enough room to tell you about all the great things about this stay and all the great restaurants and attractions. We had our best food in Italy here. Eat at Azz, Enjoy the little things Bistro, the Twins Gourmet sandwich shop. Enjoy, we sure did. See you soon Netty and Roberta!! Thanks again for everything!!!!

Loved everything about this property. Location was perfect. Extremely clean and very comfortable bed. Host Netty is a gem, the queen of superhosts. She makes sure all your needs are met. She is present on site everyday to assist you. Such a beautiful soul and very friendly. We had a room with balcony, overlooking the main street, which we enjoyed in the afternoons before going out for dinner. The last night we transferred to a room without balcony, which was just as comfortable, very quiet. Netty provided us with daily snacks, coffee and water bottles. Bathroom essentials were also offered. If we come back to Sorrento, we will definitely stay at Casa Marino again. Best wishes to you Netty, we already miss you! xox

We spent a wonderful four nights in Casa Marino. Sorrento is nice, but Casa Marino is the best of it all. It is at an excellent location, as the beach, port, train station, nice restaurants, supermarkets, anything you want is within a short walking distance away. The hotel is very new and clean with tasteful decor. We had a family suite and a balcony room; the family suite has a large living area, dining room, and kitchen. The balcony room is also very spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The rooms were serviced every day and free water and snacks were frequently provided, much to our surprise and pleasure. The management is outstanding, as they are very efficient and friendly. Other than regular services provided, they gave us extra help to get transfers to pick us up from Napoli Centrale and to help us get a tour to the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Netty and Roberta are the best of the best. They are the reason we have so many wonderful memories of our trip in Sorrento, and we will absolutely be back if we return to Sorrento in the future.

Netty is fantastic host, she did absolutely everything and more, to make us feel at home at her place. She is super friendly, helpful, communicative, very attentive and she even managed to arrange glutein free snacks and cakes for our kids. The place looks even better than the pictures, it is at an excellent location and kept in such good shape that it felt like it is completly new. It was sparkling clean with daily maintenance, the kitchen and the bathroom was fully equipped and stocked with all neccesities and snacks. It was an excellent stay, we can strongly recommend Casa Marino to everyone!
