The only thing was it didn't have Air Conditioning. In the summer, that could be a downfall. Fortunately, we didn't need it.

Everything was great. Our hosts were exceptional. They met us at the train station and took us to the apartment to show us around. They answered any messages immediately. The apartment was 5 minutes away from the train station and a short walk to Old Town. The apartment was HUGE--far more than we needed!

Valerio and family met us at the train station and helped with bags and transportation to accommodation, the apartment was very clean and the facilities were very comfortable. The apartment is in great location, 3 minute walk from the train station and very close to ferry terminal. Varenna was our favourite location on the lake, Valerio and family were great hosts and made our stay all the more enjoyable, I highly recommend this apartment to families or couples travelling together. The bathroom upstairs is a shower in a bathtub, water tends to splash out wetting the floor.

Its very clean, well equipped & has herbal teas/coffee, cooking condiments like olive oil, black pepper etc. The quilt bedding is so warm & comfortable in the cold. I had such a good sleep every night.

Great location, close to the train station and ferry landing. The owner greeted us at the train station, showed us around the property and explained where everything was. He even drove us to the property as it was pouring rain and brought an English speaking friend to help out!

As with many places in Europe, there are no screens on the windows.

We were met at the train station by the hosts who had brought a car for our luggage. It was an easy walk to the apartment. The location is excellent: less than 10 minute walk to center of town, ferry, small grocers. There is a bank with an ATM across the street. The trail to the Castello is just up the street to the left. The kitchen is decently equipped. I definitely recommend Casa Valerio.

Lack of good quality fan upstairs - It was exceptionally hot in general. Cannot avoid stairs to reach flat, so, if you have heavy luggage, like us, it is a little struggle

Excellent location near to station , lake and ferry. We went to lake swimming 2 days in a row. Excellent communication and service from host. All amenities in flat very good and clean.

We had the warmest most genuine greeting and explanation of the unit on arrival. The host left milk and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge and there were staples to allow you to cook The unit has everything 2 couples require to explore lake Como area

The couch was too soft, so it was hard to get in and out of it. The beds upstairs are very firm, which was tough on old bones. The location was near the ferries and train station, which placed you far from town center and had some slight train noise at night.

The space was good for 4 adults. The water pressure was great and the hot water was almost too hot. There was a full kitchen, but we only used the refrigerator.

Valerio and his father greeted us at the train station and helped carrying the luggage to the house. Both are very nice and helpful. The house is clean and spacious for a family of four. We love the house and will stay here again if possible.

Firstly, I would like to thank Valerio for his hospitality👏👏. I we very pleased with his welcome and make access of the garage to park my car. The location of the apartment is great, close to the lake, city center and train station. It' s very comfortable and silent regardless close location to the rail station

Nothing! Train was passing nearby but we didn't hear it at all.

Super close to train station, literally 2 ms walk. Also 2 ms to the ferry station. Kitchen well equipped, we had a bottle of welcome prosecco too. Heating worked well (last days of Nov.) 100 % cleanliness! Very comfy bed and mattress. Perfect base to explore neighbouring towns, comfortable train transfer from Milan or Bergamo.
