It was clear that our dietary requests were considered at dinner, with special effort. Yet, breakfast was not as satisfying in this aspect...

Absolutely amazing place! Beautiful castle, breathtaking views. Our room was spacious, clean and felt very unique. We experienced the kindest hospitality by the local staff Irene and Simona, starting with great communication prior to our arrival, continuing with arranging a special opening of the local restaurant (3 Orlogi, which was very good and considered our dietary requests), and setting a truffle hunting experience followed by a wonderful wine tasting. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

A little uncomfortable for my boyfriend who is tall, not having a private shower. Not being able to visit the Castle is frustrating, they shouldn't advertise it as a Castle .... since you don't stay in the Castle and you can't visit it.

Romantic, beautiful, but 1 night is enough (that's what we did), more than that would be boring. Attention: you are NOT staying inside the castle, you are in front of it and the pool is closed in winter (of course!) so don't go there with that expectation. You also can't visit inside the castle (a bit frustrating). But for 1 night it was perfect, beautiful, lovely suite, incredible breakfast, wonderful garden (especially the labyrinth).

Restaurant needed to be open for dinner more nights. Needed one more staff member to help with bags, drive a cart to take guests to pool. Tour of the castle was needed.

Peaceful and interesting setting for a very comfortable time. Breakfast was excellent and the staff most accommodating. The room was spacious, simply and tastefully decorated. The house wines were delicious and the tasting area made me feel like I was at home without a care in the world.

In one of the three rooms we lived in (3 rooms in total) there was not a shower (only bath tub) and in that same room the air conditioning did not work properly

Pretty everything is really good. It woudl be nice if you could see more from the inside of the castello. The owners of the castello are living in there so you can't see all. But you can go into the wine cellar - stunning! It would be also nice if you have something like a cafe or a bar for the afternoon. It's not that dramatic that you don't have that because you can go to wineshop and drink a glass of good wine made in the wine garden of the hotel. From early evening you can go to the restaurant which has an absolutely stunning view!

Breakfast was really good, they mainly have italian cheese, salami, ham. The most of the food is local from farms near from the hotel (cheese and eggs for example). Restaurant has an amazing view!!!

As a start for our honeymoon this was just the best location you can think of. An ancient castle with a very good restaurant, nice cellar wine tour/tasting and stunning views over the surroundings. The suite was very clean and spacious. Will definitely visit again and would absolutely recommend.

Great property, stylish rooms, perfect swimming pool and very nice restaurant. The staff is very friendly, open and always available for help. We really loved the picknick in the beautiful garden, the tour through the wine-cellar of the castle and of course the nice selection of quality wines. For us it was a perfect stay with our family, can only recommend to book some nights at the castle!

Due to Management, we were licked outside of entering hotel due to manager hanging up phone on us. Door to room was antique. We couldn’t get it locked. Called downstairs for help so we could lock the door. Had to call manager back 2x as no one was coming. We waited over an hour to get someone up to the room. On checkout day, I called downstairs @ asked if we could get help with luggage. It was 8am. We had an appointment in Milan, which I shared with them at check in. Manager told me I’d have to wait til 9am as, that’s when they’d have staff. The grounds are beautiful. The Manager isn’t prepared to accommodate any visitors. No one was at the front desk at time of checkout. We left the keys on the desks after carrying out luggage down 2 flights of stairs.

We called the hotel to verify which gate to enter. The lady manager told me no speak English, call back & hung up the phone on us. Hired staff was very friendly. The resort was beautiful & room was very comfortable. We’d go back if it was under the care of a good hospitality manager.
