Amazing accommodation - very unique. Dinner is experience in fine dining in very atmospheric environment. Breakfast buffet is outstanding. So glad we chose this lodging for our Via Francigena journey.

Lovely and cosy place to stay in beautiful Toscana. This was our second time at Colle Val D’Elsa and again it was a beautiful visit. We would like to thank especially Ms Iliana and Ms Elena for the warm welcome when we checked in.

Didn’t realise the train was so far from the property and it was really difficult to organise a taxi, however the staff assisted us in finding a driver.

Beautiful historic building, large rooms, extremely comfortable bedding, friendly staff, loved the pool area and vibes. Close to water falls and town. Lovely restaurant and bar.

no heating, it was a little uncomfortable inside the bedroom as floors are all tiles, and the weather was already cold, the charging for electric car was extraordinarily expensive, an hour for EUR15 - does not seem to make sense

The pool area could be better serviced.

The property is beautiful and in a central location for reaching Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra. The breakfast room ladies were delightful as were the ladies in the Cardinale restaurant. Mina was an extremely affable and polite head waitress whose standard of courtesy is hard to come across in service industries anymore.

The hotel could organise a bit more the information for guests who do not have their own transport. Information and options around taxis, buses and trains was not easy to get, although with the helpful staff we sorted everything in the end.

Great for couples. The hotel has beautiful buildings and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly. Lovely pool area to lounge in. Easy to walk into the beautiful town of Colle Val D'Elsa.

The blow drier is not strong enough to dry and style a women’s hair daily. The housekeeping, even tho we left the sign at the door everyday “Do not Disturb” came inside twice during our stay.

Everything was great. Maybe in the future could a fitness center be installed.

The hotel itself was amazing. The pictures of the hotel and our room were not half as good as the hotel itself in person. We stayed there with our families for our wedding and everyone enjoyed the garden and pool. Breakfast was very good as well. The honeymoon suite was so spacious, my wife did her getting ready there and the pictures were amazing. The bathroom had so much coubterspace, that's exceptionally rare in hotels. Daniele the manager was very helpful and friendly. We organized with him a small pizza party for some friends and family, and the food, gardens, wine and service were exquisite. Definitely will be returning.

The pool is just off the road. Its not a main road, but you hear the occasional car go by. That is the only thing I can think of as to what I didn't like!

This is a great place to stay to get a sense of Tuscany. We travelled from the hotel to Greve, San Gigimignano, Siena, and Pienza. The pool area is just beside the hotel and provides a great place to relax after travelling about the area. The rooms are spacious by Europeans standards; the bar area and piano room excellent places for a cocktail and conversing with other guests, and the restaurant served up some great food. We also travelled into the old city of Colle di Val d'Elsa and found the restaurant Porto Nuove...what a great place on top of the castle entrance to the city. Do not, and I repeat, do not miss out on hearing the guitarist that performs during dinner at the hotel restaurant. He is simply one great guitar player. The breakfast at the hotel is awesome. We sat outdoors each day (we stayed five nights), and sipped our cuppocinos overlooking the old city. The staff here couldn't be friendlier, and accommodated my non-stop questioning on how to say something in Italian. This is one great place to stay (P.S. if you long for a hamburger, like I did after several days of pasta and pizza, ask them where Poldo's is located. Its a local hangout and open till 2am, and wow did they have a great burger.

The room and bathroom was great, the bed super comfortable and the room temperature perfect. The grounds and property itself is really beautiful and the breakfast spread was generous. We ate at the restaurant the one night and the food was excellent! I would highly recommend going for a walk or run along the greenbelt 500m from the hotel.
