Electrically stylish convenience It’s hard to know where to start in praise of Domus Nannini, so I’ll begin with first impressions. Great care has been taken in the decoration, furnishing, and equipment of this one-bedroom rental which has a touch of an Art Deco sensibility with a decided bent towards quality. The painted ceilings (charming), the massive bed that swallows up most of the bedroom (beyond comfortable), the artful arrangement of artificial floral arrangements, all speak to the care with which this apartment has been decorated. Only two steps and you’re inside — no staircases or temperamental elevators to negotiate. What is more, if you are arriving by car, the location is beyond convenient. Yet you are literally only a few minutes’ walk from the Campo. Finally, but not least, is the remarkable solicitude of your host: Gianluca Nannini. Imagine, he ensures there’s a bottle of Chianti, cantucci, milk, bread, water, juice, pastries, Nespresso capsules supplied to ensure you an easy start – even though there are two grocery stores right by. And if you have even the slightest question or need, he’s the
