How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing to complain about, but nothing to woaw about either. A bit at the border of the village, but Urbino is very small.
This hotel is situated near the "walls" of Urbino but in Urbino. It is an old style hotel, in terms of decoration (sink, :) and very basic;. Staff was responsive, with an accurate level of english but not very good. Room was quiet, normally equipped, shower structure a bit uneasy. Good breakfast. I don't see why they have 4 stars compared to 3 star hotels.

The room is small but it is a standard for this price in Italy
The hotel is nice and personnel are very kind. The location is great and you can park nearby for free if you are lucky. Wifi was working well and the room was small but nice.

The staff were exceptional especially Eleanora , she was so good , we were delayed arriving at the Bonconte , we missed two trains so it was after 9:30 when we arrived and she came and collected us at the bus station . She was exceptional in every way . She ordered us a pizza and was so kind to us . The breakfast was exceptional and our room was so beautiful and very Italian in design Will definitely stay again , Couldn’t fault it

Eccentric bathroom in our bedroom (all very modern but overdesigned... glass doors didn't shut and drainage of water not adequate... all this in the context of a very comfortable room with its own sitting area outdoors.)
Breakfast was excellent avd copious. Welcome was good.

Not very sound-proof. You hear quite a bit from your neighbors. Looks like an old glory: could use a bit of refurbishment.

To take a shower in jacuzzi bath was a bit inconvenient. Was difficult to navigate to the hotel as google maps led through old town narrow street. We were lucky to avoid police:)
Hotel is on the edge of old town and it makes it quiet but still very centered. Breakfast was of two options either continental of Italian. Lost of fruits, sweet pies, meets, eggs etc.- very generous assortment. Room was nicely decorated and made Urbino renaissance feeling :).

The bed was not very comfortable, and it was made of 2 mattresses put together. No free parking. We spent 10 euros for leaving the car for less than 24 hours.
Nice and modern place in the heart of Urbino. Nice indoor and outdoor space to enjoy

2 pm check in too late, reception area decor from 1986, room and bathroom very good but rain shower head same size as shower tray, felt like a goldfish in a bowl !

The public areas and corridors are looking a little faded and shabby, though personally that does not bother me at all - if anything it adds to the atmosphere. But the rooms themselves are in excellent condition and in any case I understand from the owners that refurbishment of the public areas is planned for the very near future.
Very friendly family-run hotel in very convenient location for visiting Pistoia, which is in turn itself an excellent base for exploring Tuscany

We arrived as it was turning cold and the heating in the hotel only came on in the evenings. This was solved on the 2nd night with a heater in our room.
Location very good, once we had worked out to use a taxi to get to the tope of the town. Great views and parking readily available. With Covid, the only meal was breakfast which was fine but means our experience was limited to the room and breakfast.

A bit dated hotel in need for renovation.
Nice location inside the city walls of Urbino. Walking distance to all sites in the city. Overall a good room and and especially a nice bathroom.

The breakfast wasn’t very fine. The juice was not fresh, the sausage old and each day when we came for breakfast, doesn’t matter what time, the bread was out, just a few old slices of dry toast.
We liked the location, the hotel has a charme from the old days, very nice. The stuffer was very friendly.
