Needs a good renovation. Water dripped from above the vanity sink out of an AC vent. Repainting needed.

Lovely old charm, large pool, beautiful bar area & spacious rooms. 10-15 minute walk to shops & restaurants. Quiet, leafy area of Florence with free, on site parking.

The beds were hard. The walls could use cleaning or a freshening of paint. There was a foul smell in the shower room, although clean.

The location was central yet still walking distance to some nice restaurants. It was in a nice treed area that was in a safe residential area. The breakfast was amazing in variety and quality.

The location and the hotel was excellent. It is a small boutique hotel and felt quintessential Italian. The room was very clean and comfortable and the dining area and pool area were just lovely. It is in a nice shady tree-lined street with parking on-site, but also just a few minutes walk frrom the old section of Florence, so the best of both worlds!

Rather old and old-fashioned appliances. We had a problem with the window: it would not close and no one was available on site to fix it (it got fixed only the day after); luckily, it was not a very cold night, but that is definitely something I would not expect from a hotel of that category.

The noisy airconditioning in the living area sits beside our hotel bedroom. It was super noisy at night. We were at Room 100.

Breakfast could be better. However it’s only 15euro per person.

Great location only 20minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio. Beautiful setting and a decent size pool which was much needed in the 35 degree temperature! There is a carrefour express 5mins away and if you have a car there is on site parking. Highly recommended for a city break.

As a one-night stop, there was little to dislike about this charming hotel, except perhaps the price - and the appalling exchange rate! But, as they say, you get what you pay for, and we did!!

As an overnight stop, it provided everything that we were looking for. The view from the window was charming, the breakfast was generous, the on-site parking convenient, the location was peaceful, exceptionally green and close to where we needed to be. There was also a kettle in the room - not an insignificant item when all you want is a cup of tea/coffee at the end of a long day and just before going to bed

You can easily see that the property has been reshaped 20-30 years ago and I would say it is time to invest! Indeed, rooms are not modern in terms of design, missing some equipment or not working or pretty old.

The location was great and with parking spots which was very convenient. The building is impressive as it is an old one with a lot of charm. The employees of the hotel were very nice and always ready to help. Also, even if not big, it was nice to have a swimming pool knowing we had 35 degrees during our stay !

We didn't enjoy the breakfast - it was lacking variety, but the croissants were good. The rooms are outdated and the hotel is in need of renovation. The WiFi was very poor in our room.

The location is amazing. Very close to the Boboli Gardens and the city center. We very much enjoyed the pool as well.

The condition of the facilities was a bit poor. It seems like it hasn't been renovated or properly looked after for a while. Paint that looks old, pool a bit dirty, the bathrooms were old too.

The pool was nice, the location was great and the staff were very friendly. Parking was a good option too. The rooms were adequately sized.

The rooms could do with little update. Window latch was broken, so the window would not lock. One sink was blocked, this was rectified quickly but the plug stayed dirty. Hairdryer did not work properly kept cutting out and a distinct lack of hooks for the towels as well as hardly any shelves in the bathroom. A few little touches is all it needs.

Lovely location, friendly and helpful staff. Beds were comfortable. The pool was a bonus, great to cool off and relax after sightseeing.

This hotel could use some TLC, especially in the annex, where it was a bit shabby. Also, in a 4-star hotel, I would expect a complimentary bottle of water and coffee/tea. The pool could also use some upgrading. There is staining around the edge.

Breakfast selection wasn't great. And what was available looked like it had been there a while. Cups in the room weren't cleaned after use.

Glasses and cups in the room were not washed/replaced each day. Teabags were not topped up each day. Car parking was small, awkward to access and crowded!
