Hygene in the bathroom was poor, aircon didn't work, staff came in the room without knocking (twice!).

The pool is gorgeous! Garden, breakfast en bar was amazing! Nice service and good drinks. The room was tiny, but very good for the price, unfortunately our aircon didn't work. The bathroom was not hygenic though (mold in the mastic). But we couldn't really ask for more with this price. Overall we had a very good experience and would definately come back!

The air conditioning in the room was a disaster. We were heading for the ferry and had to leave before breakfast.

We stayed at Villa Maya 3 days. Very relaxing, pool clean, big and not too busy. Bed very comfortable and bar did the job, with Loris being a great host! Breakfast included and very very nice.

Could do with a bit of maintenance, garden was not well kept. Thats a shame, cause it has a lot of potential. Room was very small and outdated.

An exceptional hotel. Characterful but relatively low key. Ideal for a relaxing holiday but with Pisa on the doorstep and Florence, Volterra and so much more to visit in the area. The pool is beautiful and the gardens really peaceful. The breakfasts are excellent, as are the evening meals and the restaurant a wonderful setting. Moreover, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making for a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend and hope to return

Clean room in a very very beautiful area. the check in was quick and very nice. and also the lady during check out was very nice and friendly! we could even stay after check out in the hotels gym and pool area to train and enjoy the sun and to plan our next stop on our road trip through Italy. Grazie! if we are in this area again, we will book again this hotel. :-)

No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms and we had no WiFi though I do understand that that the WiFi being down was beyond anyone's control. I asked for the use of an iron, to press a shirt and that wasn't something that could be made available to me.

Nice clean newly renovated rooms. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is not value for the money at all - coffee mashine was horrible and super slow. Toaster didn’t work at all. Service could also be improved

The room was very outdated and dusty, especially the bathroom. Furthermore we missed a minibar in the room, so we could keep our water and drinks cool.

The staff was friendly and the poolarea was amazing! The location was great, just a 10 minute drive from Pisa. Its a nice hotel for people who want to combine relaxing and taking day trips.

There was really a lot of noise at night which prevented us from sleeping till very late because the hotel organizes wedding parties with lots of people in the courtyard close to the rooms, with a dj and very loud music. This happened twice during our four-day stay. I think this hotel should make a choice: either you draw your income from big parties or your receive guests as a hotel and provide quiet conditions especially at night! You can't opt for these two incompatible options at the same time! Besides, the noise from the very busy highway a few hundred meters from the hotel was also quite disturbing both at the swimming-pool and at night. In addition, we found all the staff very cold, unwelcoming, and unconcerned, both at the reception, and at the restaurant. The two-course menu (20 euros) was quite disappointing too (we tried it twice and then we went to restaurants outside the hotel). Finally, the hotel is located in an uninteresting part of the countryside which is quite essentially a big hub for traffic quite far from Pisa (20 minutes on the motorway), which we found inconvenient. This place is OK for one night for businessmen or people who want to be close to the airport, but not for people who want to rest for a few days in a quiet environment and be close to the attractions of Tuscany.
