How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. No Washing Machine - the Apartment would be a perfect 10, if it had a Washing Machine.
We have stayed here before in October 2023. Fabulous location - 15 mins walk in any direction to see all of the major sights and use transport links. Carrefour supermarket directly beneath Apartment building. Spacious Apartment. We will be back in 2025.

Had to communicate host by email or WhatsApp with any queries.
Apartment fresh & clean with facilities provided however no cutlery in the apartment. Location very good.

No complaints. There was a delay in messages going through Booking.com.
Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Excellent shower. We were unlucky with the weather during our visit in Turin so having such a nice place to stay made up for the disappointment. Would definitely recommend or book again.

The apartment was outstanding, possibly the best that either of us has ever stayed in . The location was superb also

This is a wonderful apartment - spacious living/dining room with a large, well fitted kitchen area. Separate bedroom with a huge walk-in wardrobe area. Beautiful bathroom with an excellent shower. Tasteful decoration everywhere. The apartment is in a great location - under 15 minutes walk from either main line railway station (Porta Susa or Porta Nuova), and easy walking distance to shops, sights, bars, restaurants. There is a Carrefour supermarket next door. The apartment is located in a period building with a lovely marble staircase and a lift. It also has a private outside terrace with table and chairs. Host kindly agreed to let us drop our bags off before the agreed check-in time, but when we arrived the apartment was actually ready so we were able to check in early. Altogether the perfect place to stay in Turin.

Washing machine for clothes would have been a bonus.
Beautiful, modern apartment in a classic building. Very secure with all the conveniences you could need (except no clothes washer, though there is a laundry trough). We stayed two nights but could have happily stayed for a month.

The communication with the host was a bit uncomfortable. The host only spoke Italian. I'd definitely recommend brushing up on that for the basics, but I guess language barriers always make things tricky. But nothing you can't get around with Google translate.
All in all an amazing place. I loved it. The Apartment is very spacious and was very clean on arrival. An Early check-In was accommodated as well. There was a beautiful terrasse. The bed was insanely comfortable. In Summary, I would definitely recommend it.

Plug sockets weren’t in the best location in the bedroom.
the property was in an excellent location, right in the heart of Turin. The private balcony was an added bonus.

Very nice apartment, everything in good condition and perfect location. Fully equipped kitchen and private terrace with tables and sofa. Good restaurants just downstairs, nearest supermarket next door

Had a lovely stay at Joe Luxury... it really is Luxury. Beautiful place, we wish we had longer here. Homely feel and great decor. Lovely bathroom package to enjoy, shower was spacious too. We were able to cook and relax on the couch in front of big TV at the end of a day exploring. Only 10-15 minutes walk into city. Big outdoor patio. Would stay again in a heart beat and recommend to others.

We liked everything - the wifi could be improved.
The apartment is super nicely located in the heart of Torino. It’s modern, spacious, with AC in the living room and bedroom. It also comes with a nice terrace.

Lack of a washing machine. Neighbors in Apartment above, could be a bit noisy, like elephants walking on the floorboards.
Location is superb. 10 mins walk in any direction, to most of Turin sights and Transport links. Carrefour supermarket right on your doorstep.
