The neighborhood was a bit scary at night.

Nice place to stay if you're on a budget. We really appreciated the courtyard parking as the district did not feel super safe at night. The city centre is reachable by foot. Good breakfast.

Very large room with balcony, big bathroom on a good location, near the center of Palermo. Maurizio is an excellent host. Italian breakfast.The parking spot is a big advantage at Palermo. Great place for staying in Palermo!

Breakfast was disappointing for the price we paid (included in the room price) , we only had 2 croissants left next to our room. In the room coffee /lemon tea maschine with capsules and some toasted bred + jam. I didn t like the tea at all. No fruits nor juice or eggs. Very noisy corner in the night.

The room was spacious and private bathroom quite big, too. Owner very helpful. Within walking distance from old town.

The only problem was the noise from the street and the dance school located in the same building. A recommendation for the owner would be to invest into the sound-proof windows. That would really enhance the experience.

The apartment was perfect, nice and clean with comfortable bed and probably the best bathroom I have ever experienced on Booking. There is also a set to make coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast is included but please be aware this is a typical Italian breakfast ;) The host was very nice and helpful and quickly responded if we needed anything. The apartment is situated in 10-15 mins walk from the Main Train Station which is also useful especially if you need a place to stay overnight before moving on outside of Palermo. There are plenty bars and shops open in the neighboring streets (although the neighborhood itself is not the most exciting part of Palermo).

The best host I've ever had. He took care of every detail, so we could fully enjoy our stay in Palermo. P.S. He speaks english fluently, which is not that common in Italy.

Although we booked and paid for an entire apartment with a balkony but we only got a room with a shared kitchen without any balkony and when we complained the host told us that this is his understanding of an apartment. Walls were paper thin, you can here every single noise form the other rooms. Toiletries were not restocked, wastebins were not cleared. No hot water for the first night, initial proposal for a solution was to use the shared bathroom but afterwards restarted the boiler but hot water remined problematic (long waiting time in the shower never in the basin). There were no storage room in the bathroom, only one chair in the room for two people (which was a three-person room anyway). Deceptive pictures, noisy environment (dance school below the rooms). Very bad breakfast: only croissants with jam, nutella, butter and honey every day, opened jam containers were reserved, second day there was no juice at all.

The bed was quite comfortable and the host was waiting for us at the agreed time so check-in was fine.

Comfortable large rooms and bathroom. It was a queen suite so plenty of extra room. Off street parking was very nice, car was locked in so very safe. Maurizio was wonderful as a host, very accommodating, good breakfast cappuccino’s. He was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Maurizio waited for us at the location and provided us with all the tourist information and useful tips for our stay in Palermo and its surroundings. Thank you, that was great! We liked his professionalism and friendliness, very well organized with attention to detail. The room is very spacious, clean, bright with all facilities. Simple and elegant. Situated at first floor, in a building with elevator. The location is very good, 10-15 minutes walk to the Central train station.
