Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SpainThe air conditioning in the room and especially in the hallway was a bit too cold, and it was hard to regulate the temperature in the bedroom.
The hotel is very close to the main ferry stop in the island of Lido. In the same street, there are a lot of restaurants and shops. It's a 10-15 minute walk away from the beach. The room was renovated and the bathroom was super new. The hotel breakfast was abundant and varied, could not even manage to try everything!

SwedenOld building and rooms, There was a strike for boats on the day of check out but staff didn’t tell us about this. Due to this we lost a whole day in queue for ferry to go out. If staff would have told us we could have planned and booked a ticket on ferry. Poor service in this regard.

CanadaAs a place to stay to explore Venice, the location of the hotel on the island of Lido was excellent. Lido is a quiet neighbourhood with good restaurants, a beach and good water-taxi service to Venezia, Burano Island and even the airport. Our room had a good bed and nice bathroom. The front desk staff was helpful. The breakfast had many good choices and excellent Cappacino.

GermanyMy kids kind of didn't like it that in our room, there was no possibility to lock the bathroom door. Maybe this can be improved because it is a family room for 4 persons, and the feeling of privacy is important in such a team, at least for those minutes when one is in the bathroom :))
The location is wonderful, just 3 minutes from the ferry port and 30 seconds from a supermarket. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The reception manager Roberto was very friendly and helpful. We are satisfied.

Laid-back seaside resort just opposite Venice. Good escape from all the tourists and the hustle and bustle of Venice, Excellent location with 150 meters to the ferry with direct access to Venice, Burano and Marco Polo airport. Promenade along the sea is situated by the hotel, as well as several restaurants, cafes, shops and a supermarket. English breakfast with scrambled eggs and the customary croissants and cakes. Recommend buying a 2 or 3-day pass with the ferry company to have free access to Venice and the islands. The room was cleaned every day even though we left quite late.
