How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The drainage not very good, so after showering for awhile the water built up in the shower.
Very well located right next to the train station, one stop away( 7') from Vittoria which is where the main attraction is, cant hear the train at all. The hotel is nice and clean through out . Good value for money

A little more help with tours and transportation to places. But the truth of the marker is I didn't enquire about this as I should have. I didn't want to impose with my lack of speaking Italian.
It was convenient for walking and train access. Could of had a better map for reading the names of the streets. But that's just me who has trouble reading the small print. Your breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly even to a nonspeaker of Italian.

If I had to say something it is a little bit far from town. But very manageable.
Very new and modern hotel with good quality fixtures and fittings. The beds in the quadruple room were comfortable and the sound insulation from the trains was amazing. Breakfast was very good - most things had run out as we arrived but the staff worked hard to replenish them quickly. About 15 mins walk to town... We would recommend turning right and right again out of the hotel rather than left and left.. this avoids walking through the train station. Secure parking was also very good

Coffee at breakfast - if anywhere, then in Italy the guest expects a barista who prepares a fresh and delicious espresso or cappuccino. Unfortunately, only a self-service coffee machine is available.
The hotel is in an excellent location right next to the train station and only a short walk to the city center. The price includes secure parking right next to the hotel entrance. Friendly staff both at the reception and at breakfast. A comfortably furnished room, fully soundproofed, with pleasant lighting and a modern bathroom. Breakfast is available at an affordable extra charge and offers a satisfying selection of dishes for a good start of the day.

The hotel is located next to the train station but in the rooms you can't hear anything. There is a closed parking in front of the hotel for your car. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly. It's not a long walk to the city centre.

A nice hotel with friendly staff and great for people travelling with a car as it offers free parking. Not far from the main centre -only twenty minutes walk. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of food and a coffee machine. Well priced for the high season.

The TV was not satellite. All the channels were in Italian, which was not okay for non-italian speakers.
Clean space, staff were so welcoming and no noise even though it is close to the train station.

The staff had a strange attitude and we saw horrible attitude from kitchen staff towards a family.
The room was very good, it had everything we needed and also its very close to the train station so if you are planning to travel its a very good option to stay!

Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
Excellent hotel if you want to spend some nights in Brescia and/or the proximity to the rail station is a priority. The hotel is really nice, perfect value for money. One needs to walk a little bit (no more than 20 minutes) to get to the city center, but the underground can also be used in case one wants to avoid that. For the rest, the room was really nice with the right size. Very nice breakfast as well. Overall a very nice experience and definitely worth the money spent.

The location is right next to train station, which is practical when you travel by train, but maybe a little bit scaring for night, althought safe.
Quality in a good price. Nice hotel with many amenities and free parking. Very kind staff

happy with everything
The hotel is located right next to Brescia's train station, just a short walk away from the city centre, but you cannot hear the noise of the trains at all from the rooms. very good breakfast at 7Euros if booked in advance. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfy.

The hygiene of the room could be a little better.
The girls at the reception were nice and kind. The hotel has parking in its own yard, which was very important to us. The hotel is within walking distance of the old town.

Maybe they could add some coffee in addition to the tea bags by the water boiler
I always enjoy my stays in hotel Leonessa. The room is modern and clean, definetly very good value. Staff is welcoming and helpful. The location is not the best as the train station area is super dodgy but if you travel by train it is very convenient. I ll be back.

All was perfect No problem
This hotel is so near to train station and so convenient with heavy luggage They have amazing friendly staff who also helped by storing our luggage on last day of checkout so we could explore the city I would recommend their spa which is world class experience The room was clean and all was perfect as needed for a good stay and location is perfect you can open the windows and see the trains but still there is no sound of trains in the room it was perfect silent
