Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean, cozy, and just a short 5-minute walk to the lake. From there, it was easy to take the ferry and explore the beautiful towns on the other side of Lake Garda. The reception was very welcoming.the lady at the front desk was kind and helpful which made me feel immediately at home. The breakfast was also delicious and a great way to start the day. Overall, it was a perfect stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Desenzano.

Great simple breakfast. Croissant or toasted sandwich, with coffee or juice. Right in the middle of town, and super close to ferry.

Bar didn’t open at night but you were surrounded by lots of other places so it didn’t really bother me.

The room was clean and the air conditioning worked really well. The staff were friendly and the location was excellent. As a solo female traveler, the accommodation felt safe 😊.

Everything was fine. There were no problems.
The personal was very nice. I really like typical italian breakfast and cosy hotel room. Hotel is situated in the city centre - everything important like port, shops and restaurants is close. Highly recommend if you want to spend few days in Desenzano del Garda.

Very friendly hosts, with a really cozy, nicely furnished room right in the center of Desenzano (literally opposite the church). Breakfast was Italian, and very good! A lot of restaurants and cafes in the immeidate vicinity, and a lovely pebbly beach about 10mins away.

It was all good.
This hotel was in a great location, so close to the lake and ferry. Breakfast in the café downstairs was really nice and the coffee was superb. I loved sitting outside under the sun umbrellas. Air-conditioning was so welcome as it was really hot when I visited.

Not to dislike but bathroom is smaller than other places we’ve stayed in but has everything you need and exceptionally clean.
Everything, this is the perfect hotel for location, cleanliness and probably the most friendly place we’ve ever stayed in.

The stay at the Hotel Moniga was very pleasant and nice. The hotel is located in the center literally a few steps from the market and Lake Garda. Very comfortable bed, neat clean rooms, delicious breakfast served in the bar downstairs! I highly recommend staying here during your stay in Desenzano.

Hotel is in a great location , a short walk from the lake, boat harbour and town. It has a lift and is renovated with modern bathroom . Shower is small. Bed comfortable and has bedlamps. Good wifi. Small desk . Clothes Cupboard. Easy Italian breakfast every morning in the bar . Room cleaned daily . Only one PowerPoint to use for charging. Loved hearing the church bells . Quiet at night and room has a Shutter to keep out light and window opens fully. Acts as a local bar as the people drop in for coffee in the mornings . Owners genial.

It was a bit noisy outside of my room as I was facing a small lane way that had an apartment building directly across but it didn't last too long. The bedding was thin so I was a bit cold when sleeping the first night That was resolved very quickly the next day as I requested a duvet. My room didn't have a full length mirror, which would have been nice to see my full outfit before heading out.
My room was small but cute and modern. I actually really liked it. The hotel was conveniently located, couple minutes walk to the main walkway and very close to the promenade. There were complimentary pastries in the morning, which was a nice touch.
