Great view of the town and the host are the most friendly! Breakfast is amazing. There are steps to get to the place but there are public lift to use also. Maurizio and Francesco helped us with our luggage on our arrival and departure. We were late for our ferry on our departure and they were carrying our luggage whilst running on the stairs to get out to the port in time. We’d miss our ferry if not for them.

The bed and breakfast was charming with sweeping views of the water and city of Amalfi and the beautiful valley in the mountains. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful offering tips on what to see and do during our 5 day stay. They provided excellent service and delicious breakfasts including many selections of homemade cakes fresh fruit salad and yogurt as well as full English breakfast with omelettes,meats and toast,fresh orange juice and amazing coffee. I am gluten free and they had a large selection of packaged baked treats as well as at least one gluten free homemade cake I could have.

As soon as we stepped out of the boat, our hosts made us feel like we belong in Amalfi. While journey up the stairs and through small passages revealed stunning views, that most people would miss. PS: Thank you for revealing Donna Stella to us.

the location is amazing, on top of all amalfi. it is a long wall but they literally meet you at the entrance of the town and walk you and help you with all your lagagge! it is totally worth it (unless you are injured or something). secondly, the breakfast is magic. they have a lot to offer (english breakfast with bacon and the italian version with home made pastry. then the rooms are ok but you got all you need!

The room and bathroom were extremely clean, the food for breakfast was delicious, the views from the room and the breakast courtyard are incredible, and the overall service was outstanding. Maurizio, Francesco and Basilio met us at the port, provided a quick introduction of themselves and Almafi and helped carry our bags up many flights of stairs to the hotel. As soon as we arrived, Maurizio made us fresh lemonade from their lemons that they grow on their property. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming the entire stay of our trip. The walk down from the hotel is easy even though there are many steps (takes about 5 minutes to walk down to the main Almafi town square and about 15 minutes to walk to Atrani which is the next town over). For the walk back up, they provided us with an elevator/lift key card that made the walk back up a lot easier. We were provided great recommendations for food, hiking, towns, and transportation and could not be happier with our stay. Our bags were even brought down to us at the end of our stay at the port for our ferry right on time.

I loved everything but it was hard for my mom who’s over 70 to walk up many stairs

Loved everything! The hosts and staff were all very kind and caring. Maurizio was so helpful with suggestion for our 3 day trip which I only had vague ideas. The facility was extremely cute and clean. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. The view from the hotel was spectacular! The town of Amalfi was just enough for tourist with all the shops and restaurants but not overwhelmingly crowded. Nothing to complain! Thank you Maurizio and Luciana!

The hospitality, communication. It was great to see how friendly the hosts were, breakfast with a view was amazing. We wanted to extend our stay but as we could not reschedule our next destination trip, we couldn't. But definitely recommend staying at least 3 days and explore the beautiful city and people.

The only drawback to some travelers may be the hill-top location of this BnB. It is located on very top of a steep hill, and while this location is spectacular, secluded and quiet, it may pose a significant issue to ones who have physical issues with lower extremity arthritis, have asthma, or cardiovascular issues as the climb is steep, and is more than 200 steps when taking a lift, and over 300-400 when walking the long route. While it was manageable to us, older guests or ones with arthritis issues better stay in the town center. Otherwise, this is a great location for the young and adventurous.

Exceptionally nice and helpful hosts, preparing morning breakfast daily with home-made omeletes and pastries. View of the town is spectacular as it is located on the top of the hill overlooking town of Amalfi. Quiet, safe and exceptionally clean rooms,hallway and clean-tiled bathrooms with bidet. Secluded location, surrounded by lemon trees gives this BnB a spacial vibe. The host, Mauricio, his wife and son(s) are very helpful and will help with parking and luggage carrying. WiFi is available for those who want to sit in a lemon garden work work or use computer. The morning breakfast, incuded, is very good and tasty; freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice and wonderful expresso top it all off. Highly recommned it and would stay again.

The location was just perfect, the best venue in the whole city to enjoy New Year’s Eve fireworks. The accommodation is situated in a nice orange/lemon garden, so the owners serve fresh juice in the morning from the garden

Such wonderful hospitality by the hosts. They go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. It was so nice being away from the busy tourist areas and worth every step. The room was exceptionally clean and we loved the food. Much better than any restaurant in Amalfi. Thank you so much. We will be back.

We didn’t mind all the stairs to get to the property but I will say it could be difficult for those who are not as mobile. The payoff is the view at the end!

If there was an option for 11/10 this place would get it! From the moment we arrived Maurizio met us and had two other staff members carry our luggage up all the stairs to the B&B (there are a lot of stairs). The view is incredible, one of the best in Amalfi I would say. You would absolutely hike up those stairs just to see this view. I could stop there but what puts this place over the top is all about the staff and how you are treated. Maurizio goes above and beyond in all of his interactions with you. Him and his family definitely make this stay worth it! After traveling Italy for a month this was our favourite hotel!

The stay at O'Lattariello was perfect. The host and his team are amazing. They will help with luggages when arriving and leaving Amalfi. The The view is excellent and breakfast also delicious. Dinner is availeble with extra cost, also very tasteful! Overall exceptional!
