I dont have any negative comments to add. Just a note that is not negative for the the hotel , but everyone should be careful. By mistake we didnt booked correctly our taxi for the airport. The receptionist ms Olivia, made so many calls to find a taxi at this instant, or else we could lose the flight home. Finally she did it, and we are very thankful for that!!! We took the taxi, and when we arrived the taxi driver told us that we have to pay 450EURO!!!!!!! That is for 1hour and a half drive!!! The booking with made , was 150EUROS, thats the one we booked but by mistake it was another date/hour. The hotel told us that normally if we book a car/taxi for the airport lets say 2hours before minimun, the charge will be 200EUROS. So when we asked OUR taxi driver why he charged us so much, he replied: You said it was emergency, thats why . So BEWARE the last minute taxi drivers.. and look at their taxi meter because this is unacceptable paying 450euros for a 60km ride (and with a toyota car, not even a mercedes limo we booked for 150euros!) Just again to clarify, that was not Hotels mistake, but its good for you to know!

From the first seconds we arrived, we felt the warmth of the stuff, as my wife was very dizzy from the trip (due to bad weather the road was misty and she was sick) the hostess told us to go directly to our room and rest, and after do the procedures for check in. We appreciated a lot that gesture! The room was fantastic, i tottaly recommend the one with the bath and the view!!!! There was a nice balance in the room inside, with all the nice furniture, old and modern combined together, giving a feeling of this modern-classic atmosphere. The breakfast at the hotel was delightful, offering a splendid array of choices from freshly baked pastries to local specialties that were both tasty and well-prepared. The dining area was well-maintained, and the service was prompt and courteous. As for the location, it was ideally situated, making it a breeze to explore nearby attractions and shops. Despite its central location, the hotel provided a peaceful, secluded ambiance. Easy access to public transportation and proximity to the city center added to the convenience, making my stay both enjoyable and stress-free

Room was gorgeous with stellar views. Location was fantastic - close to Amalfi town but enough to be away from the crowds. Staff (especially Elvira) were AMAZING - very very friendly and gave us the best recommendations. Highly highly recommend Palazzo Don Salvatore (my wife cried upon checkout because she didn’t want to leave)!

Great location, beautiful decor. Love the homely feel. Elvira is outstanding in her capacity and really makes customers welcome. We stayed Ethel Kind suite and it was spacious and luxurious. The breakfast served on the terrace has the perfect view; would have liked the coffee to be hotter 😅 The decor is the villa was so appealing and the music was perfect accompaniment to relax and enjoy some downtime in the living room.

Palazzo Don Salvatore was absolutely beautiful! Room with balcony was perfect with a gorgeous view. Location was great for my husband and I, since walking can be a challenge. Not many steps up to our room. Elvira and her staff were warm and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely go back.

What an incredible find this hotel is, the rooms are huge, beds comfy and views stunning. A perfect location by Amalfi centre and Atrani but the best part was the staff who were all delightful, friendly and so helpful. Elvira booked us restaurants, told us bus and ferry times and was generally just lovely. Our holiday felt like we staying with friends rather than being a hotel. Can’t wait to return.

The property was beautiful! The rooms, the location and the views were incredible. The furnishings mixed old world with modern for a spectacular setting! The service and staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Elvira and Ranata were so friendly, kind and helpful - the best! Breakfast (delicious) each morning on the veranda looking at the sea was a wonderful way to start the day. An Aperol Spritz on the same veranda in the evening completed the day. Would definitely stay again and recommend highly.

As it is in a traditional building, it doesn’t have a lift. I know it’s not possible to change, just remind other people to psychologically prepared that you have to lift your luggage step by step to your room. Some bath towel shedding cotton a little bit.

This hotel is perfect! The location is in the middle of the town, but not located in the commercial street which is very noisy. It has good view of the sea. Although it’s along the road, the window perfectly filter out all the noise. All the staffs are very helpful. They are glad to provide suggestions to my tour, ask me to feel like at home, and even prepared a big breakfast basket on my departure day because I left very early in the morning. The hotel is very clean with room cleaning every day. I strongly recommend this hotel for your holiday in Amalfi.

At this price, there should be a coffee machine in the room. Location can be a bit dangerous, in the curve of a busy road, but I'm being picky!
