A wonderful boutique hotel in a quiet area of the town, but within walking distance of some fantastic restaurants. A beautiful sheltered and sunny pool area to relax in. The service was outstanding the staff extremely thoughtful and helpful.

Intimate small hotel where Ivan & his family go out of their way to be super helpful . Great location in town so you can walk to excellent Restuarants. Easy drive to wonderful beaches . Great breakfasts also

Cant come up with anything we didn't like. Maybe just a heads up that the season (late april) is a bit slow. Relaxing but a lot of restaurants closed. It didn't disturb us too much and we didn't have any issues finding good food to eat.

The stay at Palazzo Michelangelo was exceptional. We had great expectations having read the existing reviews, however our expectations were beyond exceeded. Ivan, Tina and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. Mood manager Luna (the cutest little dog) was a lovely surprise when she joined Ivan greeting us when we arrived late. We had a rental car and could park easily for free on the street right outside the hotel. Recommend having a rental car for easy transportation from the airport and going to several beautiful nearby beaches. The breakfast, room and pool area were absolutely great. Walking distance to several restaurants, shops and grocery stores. We stayed in late april and could stay at the beach full days and even swim in the ocean (a bit cold though). The hotel pool was definitely enjoyable after a day at the beach, about 23 degrees in the pool on a sunny day in late april. We already want to go back! Warmest recommendations for this hidden little gem.

Pilazzo Michelangelo is an absolute gem located in a peaceful area. The small family run hotel is spotlessly clean, high standard of decor, comfy beds. The staff and owners were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble.

Everything was spectacular

Absolutely everything was perfect. Ivan and his wonderful family are exceptional hosts, warm, kind, generous, caring. We had quite high expectations going to PM as their booking site and reviews were very highly noted, but honestly, even with our high hopes, they managed to exceed our idea of how wonderful their place and they are! I highly recommend staying there for a wonderful time and absolutely flawless experience :) Ivan, many , many thanks from us for welcoming us in such wonderful way and sharing your home with us ! We will cherish these moments for a long time ! And hope to see you soon on our next Sardinia experience. Best stay so far !

Not cheap, but the friendly service and the condition of the place make you quickly forget the price.

Hosts were really welcoming and friendly. Made of feel at home and shared a lot of information of what to do and where to go. Place is really comfortable, well decorated and super clean. Cannot fault it. Recommend for anyone planning to stop in Villasimius.

The service here is truly unbelievable. I'm not normally one to gush over hosts because in many ways it's their job to make us feel welcome and comfortable, but we have rarely experienced this level of service anywhere. I think it's customary for people to say "I'd stay here again." Normally that's not something I would say because I'm interested in trying new places. But, honestly, this is where I would stay if I came back. And if the rooms were sold out, I would 100% still stop by just to say hi to Ivan and enjoy a limoncello or some mirto with him. If you are looking to stay somewhere in the area, just stop looking and book this place.

We had an incredible time at Palazzo Michelangelo! The atmosphere, pool, breakfast and service were outstanding! Ivan was an incredible host- polite, friendly and extremely helpful, he even packed us a lunch for our beach trip and umbrellas were available! The hotel was amazing and like no other hotel experience we have had before, highly recommend :)

The shining star of this place is the friendly family that run it! We really appreciated Ivan’s interest in our trip and helping us every day to plan our day. He would always approach us first and it meant a lot! The hotel is lovely and modern and perfectly clean. The pool area is quiet but also has enough space if all guests wish to use it. We also loved to meet the little dogs Milo and especially Luna who was very cute. The location is perfect for walking to multiple restaurants, all amazing recommendations by Ivan. Walking to restaurants in the evening was exactly what we wanted for our trip and not many locations in Sardinia have this! The most stunning beaches are a short 10-15 minute drive away which was another perk. As other reviews mention. The breakfast is amazing, fresh and plentiful. Ivan always remembered your coffee order from the first morning which was another personal touch. Thank you for a lovely stay, do not hesitate to book this place!

Absolutely and unreservedly recommendable! We had a wonderful time there, the rooms are very clean and the owners extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We felt very very comfortable and welcome and had a relaxing and nice vacation thanks to numerous tips for the surrounding area. We will definitely come back and recommend friends here. The hotel is well maintained and kept beautifully clean. It has a very new and fresh feel which makes it feel like you’re almost the first to have ever stayed there. A lovely family vibe, yet modern and well equipped. Ivan made us feel so welcome and special, so much so, that he was almost the best part of our trip. He paid such attention to detail, remembered our coffee order in the morning, took us to the beach, helped us plan our days and just generally chatted to us to make us feel at home. We didn’t want for anything!! Ivan took such great care of us and worked so hard at keeping the hotel immaculate. What an incredible stay, in the most wholesome hotel we have ever stayed in. The love, enthusiasm and care that has gone into running this hotel is unmatched! Thank you Ivan for a beautiful stay and thank you for everything you did for us! Special shout out to Milo and Luna (the resident pooches) who made us feel like we were at home with our own dog. Cannot recommend this gorgeous little boutique enough - entirely because of Ivan, his girlfriend, the dogs and the whole family’s hospitality! Thank you, we will be back 🥰 x

This is most amazing place - in town, Italy and maybe everywhere we’ve ever stayed. The many reviews on here are absolutely accurate, the place is wonderful for many reasons. The rooms are spacious and modern, great shower, pool gets full sun all day long. The town is walkable and plenty of free residential street parking. The team can not do enough to make your stay effortless, and really go the extra mile - genuinely the nicest people we’ve met in a long time. The 2 little dogs are absolutely adorable and so well behaved. We loved the welcome drink. Breakfast was fantastic and we just can’t say enough good things about this place - we wished we stayed longer and hope to return!!

We spent a lovely 10 days at Palazzo Michelangelo, Ivan and his family are brilliant hosts. Breakfast is tasty and fresh (including the best homemade cakes every morning), the whole hotel was immaculate, and the room was a good size. Ivan is super helpful and always available for advice on places to visit or car hire - he even took us on a tour of the local beaches. The resident dogs Luna and Milo made it feel like a home from home. Thank you, we'll be back 😊
